III. The seller declares the following are true:
_____The Seller is the lawful owner of the dog and has the legal right to sell the dog;
_____That Seller will warrant and defend the title of the dog against any and all lawful claims and demands of all
persons.
Medical Treatment
1. _____ It is a requirement of the seller that the Buyer must take the dog to a licensed veterinarian for a
thorough exam, shots and any necesary medication within _____ hrs from the time of pickup.
2. _____Any implied health warranty is void if the dog is not seen by a licensed veterinarian within the prescribed
time frame.
3. _____A signed statement from a licensed veterinarian for any medical problem must be provided to return the
dog for medical reasons. A full refund will be given within ______ days for the purchase price of the dog only.
4 _____ At the option of the ❑Buyer / ❑requirement of the Seller, the Buyer may/must have the Dog

6. _____The Buyer shall provide the Dog with necessary veterinary care upon sickness, disease, or injury, and
shall take it to a veterinarian at least once a year for an annual health examination and routine vaccinations.
7. _____ The Buyer will take all necessary precautions to protect the dog from Parvovirus. This includes limiting
exposure to other unvaccinated dogs until the series of vaccines is complete. The dog will not visit dog parks, play
groups, pet stores or other public areas unless carried by owners at all times.
8. _____ The Buyer understands signs of parvovirus and hypoglycemia in puppies and agrees to seek medical
attention at the first sign of either illness.
9._____The dog is guaranteed to be free of any hereditary defects that develop to the extent of rendering the
dog discomfort in any way, up to the age of 6 months. In the event of hereditary defect the Seller will reimburse
the buyer for Vet bills up to 50% of the purchase price. The money provided must go towards medical treatment
for this condition. Medical proof of any claim must be provided to the Seller’s Veterinarian at purchaser’s cost.

Rearing
10. _____ The Buyer understands that the Seller has limited information and control regarding the future
temperament, habits, and appearance of the Dog, and hence does not warrant such.
11. _____ It is highly recommended that a professional trainer be consulted to train the Dog and Buyer in the
proper handling of the Dog. Within ______ days, Buyer is ❑required / ❑not required to complete a Dog training
class. Buyer will ❑provide / ❑not provide a certificate of completion to the Seller.
12. _____The Seller ❑does / ❑does not expect the Dog to be shown in conformation competition, field trials or

13. _____ Regardless of any provisions in this Contract and its Addenda, this Dog is to be kept as a house pet only.
14. _____ Extensive time in outside areas, garage, or tied up outside is not allowed. The dog is to be kept in the
Buyer’s living quarters.
15. _____The Dog will not be used as an attack dog or a guard dog for people, animals, or property.
16. _____ The Buyer shall provide the animal with humane care and maintain it in accordance with all current and
future state, county, and municipal laws and ordinances where the Buyer resides or will reside.
17. _____ If the dog is neglected or abused, the Seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession of
the dog and seek legal action according to state laws in which the Buyer resides or will reside.
Rehoming
18. _____The Buyer warrants that he/she will be the principle owner and caregiver of the said dog and that the
dog is NOT being purchased with the intent that the dog will be used as a gift/present to any third party, including
the Buyer’s friends or family
19. _____ If the Dog cannot be kept by the Buyer, the Buyer shall notify the Seller immediately and give the
seller first options for rehoming. This Dog may never be sold or given away to any individual, company, research
facility, or group except to ❑ the Seller / ❑ an AKC recognized Beagle club or rescue /
❑_________________________ (specify name).
20. _____ If this Dog is ever returned to the Seller for any reason, all shipping charges are the Buyer’s
responsibility, including the forfeiture of the shipping crate.
21. _____ When ownership is transferred, the purchase price is forfeited and the Dog’s registration certificate is
signed over to the new owner of the Dog. Any other transfer of this Dog without written permission of the Seller
shall make the Buyer liable for up $ 3,000.00 in damages, payable upon demand to the Seller.
