CORPORATE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description - Imperial Coffee and Services Inc.

Reports to: Vice President, Sales

Liaises with: Inside Sales Representatives, Prospects, Customers, Other staff


and Management

Job purpose:

To develop and secure new profitable accounts for Imperial Coffee and Services
Inc.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Plan and prioritize personal sales activities towards achieving agreed upon
sales goals.
2. Managing own time.
3. Book and attend sales calls with prospects in person, video chat or
telephone
4. Book and deliver demonstrations of equipment and product.
5. Ensure proper equipment/product/service/pricing mix is delivered for
customer satisfaction and company profitability.
6. Develop new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales
methods maintaining Imperial Coffee and Services Inc. code of conduct.
7. Maintain existing customer loyalty by staying current with their needs and
competitor activities.
8. Prospect for new business opportunities.
9. Close profitable sales
10. Develop ideas and create new strategies for marketing to new accounts,
new market sectors or new geographical areas.
11. Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries/ calls within 1 business day
by telephone, video call, personal visit, email and/or follow up visit.
12. Ensure proper paperwork is completed on time and accurately
13. Complete all sales including following up after installs, completing
Agreements and having them approved.
14. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to
perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
15. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
16. Any other reasonable duties or tasks as assigned by management
17. Have responsibility to ensure account is viable for 90 days
18. Ensure opening orders are paid for in a timely basis and that accounts
payable information is accurate.
19. Ensure that Territory Managers are aware of all customer requirements
before handing account to him/her.

Scale and territory indicators:

Coffee – Core product range of “loaned” coffee brewers and equipment to brew
Imperial Coffee and Services Inc. products. Target sectors: All businesses that
have at least 25 employees or more in the office at all times.

Water - Core product range of rental Point of Use water coolers with filtration
ranging in price from $24.95 - $500 monthly. Target sectors: All coffee
customers.

Geographical Range – Greater Toronto area from Burlington in the west to


Ajax in the East North to South Aurora excluding existing Imperial accounts

Hiring Specification - Imperial Coffee and Services Inc.

Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear


focus on achieving aggressive goals. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing
with all levels of employees and management. Reliable, tolerant, assertive and
determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's
point of view. Well presented and businesslike. Able to get on with others and be
a team-player. Professional and well groomed appearance.

Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate and motivate via telephone, video call
and face to face. Understands the principles of the sales process and able to
prospect for leads. Strong closing skills and ability to make things happen.
Appreciates need for consistency within company's branding and marketing mix.
Must be able to stay focused with minimal supervision.

Computer skills: Must be able to input information in Excel, Word and


Powerpoint. Must be able to use email, the Internet and video chat platforms.

Literacy and Language skills: Must be able to read and write fluently and
neatly in English. Clear, concise and professionally spoken English is required.
Any other language is a bonus. Must be able to produce written quotes,
business letters and correspondence in a professional manner.

Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent communicator. Able to


demonstrate success and experience dealing with developing sales from the
ground up with varied businesses and at varied levels. Ideal background would
be in lead generation services; experience with business to business sales.

Self Management Ability: Demonstrated ability to work with minimal


supervision. Driven by aggressive, yet attainable goals. Good time management
ability. Able to sort through leads to determine quality and qualified leads. Able
to use time productively and prospect as part of their day.

Must have a reliable car.

Other: Job can be up to 100% remote with visits to Imperial Head office (12
Kodiak Crescent) or other locations for training or meetings. Hours can be
flexible (to be determined as needed)
