 Activated Alumina Ball

• Activated Alumina is an aluminum oxide that is highly porous and

exhibits tremendous surface area. Activated Alumina is resistant to
thermal shock and abrasion and will not shrink, swell, soften nor
disintegrate when immersed in water.

• Application:
➢ Primarily used for Compressed Air-Drying System for Better Dew Point.
➢ Arsenic & Fluoride removal from Drinking water & ETP.
➢ Acid removal from Transformer Oils, Lubricating Oils &
Refrigerants.
➢ Peroxide removal from organic solvent Tetra Hydro Furan (THF).
➢ TBC removal from Styrene.
 Molecular Sieve 3 A

• Molecular Sieve Type 3 A is an alkali metal alumino –silicate and it is

potassium-based Type A porous structure.
• Type 3 A has an effective pore opening of about 3 Angstrom (0.3 nm).

• Application :
➢ Ethanol Drying in distillery industries.
➢ Drying of air in insulated glass, windows and glassed refrigerated doors.

 Carbon Molecular Sieve

• Carbon Molecular Sieves have a porous nanostructure that is arrived at

after processing activated carbon as the raw material. The nano-pores
capture the Oxygen molecules available in compressed air when the CMS
is subjected to pressure. This allows the balance of Nitrogen, which cannot
be adsorbed, to be delivered as the product gas. Once the pores have been
saturated with oxygen, the CMS is de-pressurized back to atmospheric
pressure. This allows the adsorbed Oxygen molecules to be released out as
the exhaust.
