Areas
First things first, you will create new areas in your life. These represent
broader responsibilities or areas of focus that require ongoing attention, such
as career, health, relationships, business, school, learning, sports, etc. Areas
are important because when you create projects, you will assign them to a
specific area. For example, if your project is to 'Workout regularly for 30 days,'
you would assign it to the 'Sports' area. If your project is to 'Write an Essay,'
you might assign it to the 'School' area, or another area depending on how you
name it and your beliefs about which projects belong to which areas.

Right here, click on ‘+New’ to add

a new Area.

Enter a name for the area. For

example, it could be School,
Business, Fitness, Nutrition,
Health, etc. You can also upload
a cover to enhance the aesthetic
of your template.

Once you create projects and

assign them to areas, you'll be
able to see the projects specific
to the area you're currently
viewing (as shown in the
picture).

3.
Projects
Projects are significant tasks that require the completion of many smaller
tasks. For instance, launching a product would be a project that involves
various smaller tasks, such as conducting research, creating a design, and
more.

Click on 'New' below the inbox.

You must fill in all the highlighted

areas on the picture.

It should look like this.

Once you finish planning and

creating tasks for this project,
press and hold the project, then
move it to the 'Planned' section.
As you start working on the tasks,
move it to the 'In Progress'
section. When you complete the
project, move it to the 'Done'
section.

4.
Tasks
Tasks are all the small steps needed to finish your project. For example, if the
project is launching a product, tasks would include research, creating a
design, and so on.

Click on 'New' to add a new task.

You need to fill in the 'Due to'

field and select the project.
While the description is not
required, you can add any notes
related to the task if needed.

It should look like this, and it

should automatically be
assigned to the calendar below,
which you can also find on the
main page.

Now that you've created some

tasks and assigned them to
projects, you'll notice a progress
bar in the project section. As you
finish and mark tasks as
completed, the progress will
automatically increase.

5.
Resources
Resources can include all the information required for a task or project. For
instance, you might have a video explaining how to launch a product or a
step-by-step PDF guide for a specific task.

Click on 'New' to add a new

resource.

You need to fill all the highlighted

areas on the picture.

It should look like this.

6.
Notes
If you have any notes, you can also leave them in this Notion, so you can refer
to them later.

Click on '+New' to add a new

resource.

You must fill in the highlighted

area in the picture. Additionally,
adjust the status accordingly to
the note status.

It should look like this.

ou can also create notebooks

and store your notes in them for
easier navigation.

7.
Navigation

In this menu, you can navigate

through every page. (Don't change
anything in the database)

You can also add tasks, resources, projects, and notes in the 'Inbox'
section. Just don't forget to fill in all the required data.

Don't forget that to derive the most benefits from this Notion
template, you need to be consistent with it and track everything
you do. It's called Second-Brainer for a reason.
