Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) under Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space
(DoS), Govt. of India is a premier Training and Educational Institute set up for training professionals in the field of
Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics for Environment Management, Disaster Studies, etc.

The Institute regularly conducts Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in collaboration with the Andhra University,
Visakhapatnam and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE); Master of Science
(M.Sc.) and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation
(specialisation/domain: Geoinformatics) along with the Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation
(ITC) of the University of Twente (UT), The Netherlands; and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in various disciplines.

It is requested to circulate this notification among Students/ Research Scholars/ Faculty Members/ Scientists/
Engineers/ Officials working in your esteemed Institution. Further details about the courses may be obtained

which shall be helpful to expand their knowledge in Remote Sensing & GIS Applications in chosen specialisation. The
nomination form template (https://admissions.iirs.gov.in/nominations) is also available on IIRS website. IIRS offers
course fee waiver to Govt. Sponsored candidates and Scholarships to meritorious Self-Financed candidates.
