Coconut waste into Charcoal briquettes (working title)

Charcoal briquette production is a local innovation that can help to assuage such issues by providing a
more affordable and cleaner source of cooking energy. But due to the loss of many tree's that are used
for the production of charcoal briquettes and due to the demand of over populations charcoal
briquettes production are somehow modified. One of the solutions is Coconut waste into Charcoal
briquettes. Charcoal briquettes made from coconut waste represent a promising sustainable solution
amidst increasing environmental concerns and the need for alternative energy sources. Coconut, a
versatile tropical fruit, not only provides nourishment but also generates substantial waste in its
processing. Coconut husks, shells, and other by-products are often underutilized and pose disposal
challenges, contributing to environmental degradation in many coconut producing regions. The
production of charcoal briquettes from coconut waste offers a dual benefit, it addresses waste
management issues while providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional charcoal derived from
timber. Traditional charcoal production from wood has led to deforestation and significant
environmental impact, making the shift to coconut waste an attractive proposition for sustainability
source of charcoal briquettes.

This study explores the feasibility, environmental impact, and potential socio-economic benefits of
utilizing coconut waste for charcoal briquette production.Briquettes created from coconut waste
charcoal have a number of benefits, including producing a high degree of heat, being environmentally
beneficial, and having a longer burning time. It delves into the scientific processes involved in converting
coconut biomass into a viable energy source, examining the chemical composition and combustion
properties that make coconut charcoal an efficient and cleaner-burning alternative.

Objective

The purpose of this study is to explore the process of converting coconut waste into charcoal
briquettes, assessing the technical feasibility, economic viability, and environmental sustainability of the
production process, with the aim of promoting sustainable waste management practices and enhancing
value-added utilization of agricultural residues.
