1. Introduction
This Method of Statement (MOS) details the procedure for the installation of domestic kitchen appliances,
including stoves, hoods, ovens, built-in fridges, ice makers, and coffee machines, at the Shura Island Villas.
All appliances are electrical and intended for use in domestic kitchens.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this MOS is to ensure the correct, safe, and efficient installation of kitchen appliances in
compliance with the project specifications and manufacturer's guidelines.
3. Scope
This MOS covers the installation of the following electrical kitchen appliances in the villas at Shura Island:
- Stove
- Hood
- Oven
- Built-in fridge

1. **Positioning:**
- Place the stove in its designated location.
- Ensure it is level using a spirit level.
2. **Electrical Connection:**
- Connect the stove to the electrical outlet as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Secure the appliance to prevent movement.
3. **Testing:**
- Switch on the power and test the stove to ensure it is working correctly.

3. **Testing:**
- Test the hood's operation to ensure proper ventilation and lighting.

- Slide the oven into the cabinet space.
- Ensure it is level and fits snugly.
2. Electrical Connection:
- Connect the oven to the electrical outlet.
- Secure the oven in place as per the installation guide.
3. Testing:
- Switch on the power and test the oven’s functions.

- Place the fridge in its designated built-in space.
- Ensure it is level and has adequate ventilation clearance.

- Connect the fridge to the electrical outlet.

12. Appendices
Hood:

Coffee Machine:
