1 Site plan
1 Show entrance gate and security cabin (roof)
2 Write width of the road , adjacent plots , river (text height approx. 10 mm to 15 mm )etc..
3 write entry /exit, entrance, levels in landscaping, road levels etc.. .
4 Show retaining wall 3 m wide (refer design brief) and compound wall,
5 Show parapet wall on open terrace
6 Write levels on terraces and flat roofs
7 Show sloping arrow on sloping roof
8 Show joining pathways ( 1.2 m wide) in landscape joining different areas
9 Give big trees near compound wall
10 Show sectional lines at all plans at same position
11 show North on all plans ( at same place on each sheet)
12 Write parking at parking place
13 Write Swimming pool levels and dimensions
14 Show pathway reaching to office entrance, maid entrance
15 Write overall length and width of the site

2 Floor Plans
1 Write Entrance, levels wherever required
2 show proper indications of door and windows
In each room write name of the room and below that dimensions of each room (Length X width) should be written . Text should be 3 to 5 mm ht (
3 room text)
5 All rooms should have windows for adequate natural lights and ventilations)
6 carefully check toilet layout. (Refer times saver)
show proper indication of sanitary fittings in toilets (Wash basin, shower area, Bath tub, WC etc..)
7 show steps and landings at back entrance and maids room's entry. (Write levels .)
8 Staircase block should have railing, up and dn indication and dotted lines for steps above
9 check circulation space around all furniture
10 Show wall hatch
11 Show little bit surrounding details in Ground floor plans like road or swimming pool , some trees etc..
12 Show canopy and roof slab overhang or chazza in dotted.
13 Show sectional lines at all plans at same position
14 show North on all plans ( at same place on each sheet)
15 If toilet window coming in front wall or on deck,try to give elevational wall in front of it )
16 Show chimney dotted square at shegadi in kitchen
17 Show kitchen shegadi near window.
18 Show location of fridge, basin on platform in kitchen, show washing machine, wardrobe in utility area.
19 Show loft over kitchen maids room , toilet in dotted if ht in that area is more than 4 m

3 Elevations
1 Show ground line in dark
2 Show depth in elevation, with the help of line thickness (block which is coming ahead should show in thicker line)
3 show total heights outside the diagram.
4 Write important levels on right side of the elevation as taught in a lecture.
5 Give decent sky background, trees, shrubs , flower bed in elevations
6 Show overhang of 600 mm at roof level
7 Mumty should be shown above staircase block.

4 Sections
1 Show dark line at plinth level (do not show ground line below structure)
2 Show depth in elevation, with the help of line thickness (block which is coming ahead should show in thicker line)
3 show total heights outside the diagram.
4 In each room write name of the room
5 Wherever there is a level change write levels
6 Staircase block - Show steps with slabs thickness, railing.. Nd elevational steps of the background)
7 show beams, lintels, chazza wherever required
8 Show overhang of 600 mm at roof level
9 show proper indications of door and windows
10 Show internal dimension showing important heights like ht of the room, Door ht, Sill level and ht of the window etc..
11 Write important levels on right side of the elevation as taught in a lecture.
12 Show background elevations ( left and right side of structure, high roof coming in background etc..)
13 Show human figures ( propotionate)
14 Show parapeet wall at accessible terrace
15 Mumty should be shown above staircase block.
16 Show sollid hatch indicating RCC slab and beams

General comments
1 Make coverpage to the portfolio with name of the project and name plate.
2 Write scale on each page of the portfolio
3 Last page should be with isometric view, sketches of intresting details etc..
