to score well in exams candidates need to be aware of the IB ACIO Syllabus 2023. Candidates
can refer to it and get an overview of the syllabus for 2023. The first two respective phases of the
IB ACIO examination are written exams. Tier I is an objective paper consisting of five major
sections whereas Tier II comprises the descriptive part. Now, we will be detailing the syllabus for
both tiers. The expected syllabus is as follows.

The official exam pattern for 2023 is not out yet. The syllabus provided in this article is based on
previous year’s notification. Candidates can refer to it and get an overview of the exam pattern for
2023. There are three tiers of the IB ACIO exam. Tier I as discussed earlier, is an objective paper.
On the other hand, Tier II is a descriptive paper. Those who clear these two respective
examination phases are summoned for the final interview round.
The tier I exam has five sections: General Studies, Qualitative Aptitude, General Awareness,
Analytical ability, and English Language. There are a total of 100 questions, for one mark each, to
be completed within 60 minutes.
1: For incorrect answers, the candidates will be penalized with 1/4th marks.
2: The cut off marks for Tier-1 exam will be 35 out of 100. (34 for OBC/EWS, 33 for SC/ST)

The Tier II exam is a descriptive paper consisting of comprehension, precis, and essay writing.
The time allotted for this exam is 1 hour. The total mark is 50.
The Tier III Phase of the exam is the personal interview round. Here, candidates are judged based
on their presentation, intelligence, and personality.
