GST Collection In May Grows Up By 10 Percent Year On Year To Rs 1.73
Lakh Crore
मद में जीएसटी सिंग्र ठिछले साल की तुलना में 10 प्रठतशत ाढकर 1.73 लाि करोड़ रुिये
ो गया।
The gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue
for the month of May this year stood at
1 lakh and 73 thousand crore rupees.

इस साल मद म ीने में सकल वस्तु एविं सेवा कर (जीएसटी) राजस्व

1 लाि 73 जार करोड़ रुिये र ा।
Ministry of Finance in a statement said
that this represents a 10 %
year-on-year growth.

ठवि मिंत्रालय ने एक ायान में क ा ठक य ठिछले साल की तुलना में

10 प्रठतशत की वठृ ि दशाूता ै।
Out of the total collection in the month of May,
Central Goods and Services Tax is over 32 thousand
crore rupees,
State Goods and Services Tax is over 40 thousand crore
rupees,
Integrated Goods and Services Tax is over 87 thousand
and 781 crore rupees and
cess is over 12 thousand crore rupees.
मद म ीने में कुल सग्रिं में से कें द्रीय वस्तु एविं सेवा कर 32 जार
करोड़ रुिये से अठईक, राज्य वस्तु एविं सेवा कर 40 जार करोड़ रुिये
से अठईक, एकीकृत वस्तु एविं सेवा कर 87 जार 781 करोड़ रुिये से
अठईक और उिकर 12 जार करोड़ रुिये से अठईक ै।

India’s GDP Grows 8.2% In FY24 Against 7% In FY23
ठवि वषू 2023 में 7% की तुलना में ठवि वषू 2024 में भारत की जीडीिी 8.2% ाढी
India’s real GDP is estimated to grow by 8.2 percent
in the Financial Year 2023-24
as compared to the growth rate of 7 percent
registered in Financial Year 2022-23.

ठवि वषू 2022-23 में दजू 7 प्रठतशत की वठृ ि दर की तुलना में ठवि
वषू 2023-24 में भारत की वास्तठवक जीडीिी 8.2 प्रठतशत ाढने का
अनुमान ै।
According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation, real GDP or GDP
at constant prices is estimated to attain a level of
over 173 lakh crore rupees in the year 2023-24.

The Reserve bank of India brings back
100 tonnes of Gold from the Vault of UK to India.

भारतीय ररजवू ाैंक ठिटे न की ठतजोरी से भारत में

100 टन सोना वािस लाता ै।
This is a major shift in the Economic Policy of the RBI,
as it will now hold most of its Gold in its own vault.

य आराीआद की आठथूक नीठत में एक प्रमुि ादलाव ै, क्योंठक

य अा अिने अठईकािंश सोने को अिने वॉल्ट में रिेगा।
These changes have significant implications for
India’s economic sovereignty and
global market dynamics.

Most countries keep their gold in the vaults of the Bank

of England or other such location and pay a fee for the
privileges.
इन िररवतूनों में भारत की आठथूक सप्रिं भुता और वैठिक ााजार की
गठतशीलता के ठलए म त्विमणू ठनठ ताथू ैं।

अठईकािंश देश ाैंक ऑफ इनिं लैंड या ऐसे अन्य स्थानों के वाल्टों में
अिना सोना रिते ैं और ठवशेषाठईकारों के ठलए शुल्क का भुगतान
करते ैं।
At present, India has huge Foreign Exchange Reserves
to cover up to 11 months of Imports.

As of March 31, 2024, the total gold held by the

Reserve Bank was 822.10 metric tonnes
as compared to 794.63 metric tonnes
as of corresponding period.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has projected
a 7 percent GDP growth in the current financial year.

भारतीय ररजवू ाैंक (RBI) ने चालम ठवि वषू में 7 प्रठतशत GDP
वठृ ि का अनुमान लगाया ै।
In its annual report,
it said the real GDP growth for 2024-25 is projected
to grow at 7 per cent with risks evenly balanced.

GDP वठृ ि 7 प्रठतशत की दर से ाढने का अनुमान ै, ठजसमें जोठिम

The central bank said the Indian economy expanded
at a robust pace in fiscal 2024,
with real GDP growth accelerating to 7.6 percent
from 7 percent in the previous year.

The income of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
in the financial year 2023-24 rose around 17 percent
year-on-year due to a significant rise in interest income
from foreign securities, as per the central bank’s report.

On May 22, the RBI’s Central Board of Directors
approved the transfer of Rs 2.11 lakh crore
as surplus to the government for the
financial year 2023-24.
