Sub:- Request for Salary Hike

Respected sir

I, Dr. Sanila Sara Alex, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, was aggred a yearly hike
over my current salary. Having completed 1.5 years at Azzezia Institute of Medical Science and
Research, I have yet to receive this increment.
In response to a request from the HR Department, I have reduced my working days to four days per
week. Despite this, I consistently fulfill my daily responsibilities, which include patient care and
academic duties. As you are aware, the other two staff members in my department are available only
two days per week, significantly increasing my workload.
I manage the majority of the departmental duties, including patient care, referrals, theory and practical
classes, attendance, end postings, and intern supervision. Given my contributions, the increased
workload, and the long hours of travel from Trivandrum, I kindly request that my salary be increased to
Rs 95,000 per month on a full-time basis. Currently, with my reduced working days, I am receiving a
monthly salary of Rs 60,000. I request an increment to Rs 70,000 per month, considering my current
number of working days.
