ESD instructions Components which can be destroyed by electrostatic discharge (ESD) Generally, electronic boards should only be touched when absolutely necessary. ‘The human body must be electrically discharged before touching an electionics board. This can be simply done by touching a conductive, grounded object directly beforehand (e.g. bare metal cubicle components, socket outlet protective conductor contact) Boards must not come into contact witti highly-insuiating materials - e.9. plastic foils, insulated osktops, articles of clothing manufactured from man-made fibers. Boards must only be placed on conductive surfaces When soldering, the soldering iron tip must be grounded, Boards and components should only be stored and transported in conductive packaging (eg. metalized plastic boxes, metal containers). If the packing material is not conductive, the boards must be wrapped with a conductive packing material, e.g, conductive foam rubber or household aluminum fol The necessary ESD protective measures are clearly shown in the following diagram, Conductive floor surface d= ESD overalt = ESD table @= ESO chain ESD shoes = Cubicle ground connection b Seated Standing Stending sitting | Siemens AG Dk No. 224841 Eston 05.95 a SIMADYN 0 Hardware User Manual ions + QUALIFIED PERSONNEL For the purpose of this User Manual and product labels, @ .Qualified persont is someone who is farniliar with the instalation, mounting, startup end operation of the equipment and the hazards involved He or she must have the following qualifications: 41. A 6822 slave board can be directly inserted at the front panel through two fiber-optic cable connections. Data transfer between the processor boards and the C12 memory Is realized through the © bus. Thus, it can only be used in subracks with L- and C buses. The CS12 has a memory, which can be accessed by all partners, The maximum memory size is 128 kbyte. There is arbitration between the individual nodes so that only one coupling partner can access the memory at any one time. ‘The ICSt expansion board Is inserted et connector X3. Up to four CS22 slave boards are connected to this board, The CS12 interface is disabled if an expansion board is inserted, ‘The subrack with the CS12 can be considered as master in the system. The base sampling time and alarm interrupt are transferred to the connected slave boards via the CS12. Thus, the slave subrack can be synchronized. 3. This error is not identified when the master program is compiled. ‘The connectors in the master program board mask are used to specify as to whether the basic sampling time and the alarm interrupt from the master board should be received. ESD instructions Components which can be destroyed by electrostatic discharge (ESD) Generally, electronic boards should only be touched when absolutely necessary, ‘The human body must be electrically discharged before touching an electronics board. This can be simply done by touching a conductive, grounded object directly beforehand (e.g. bare metal cubicle ‘components, socket outlet protective conductor contact) Boards must not come into contact with highly-insulating materials - e.g. plastic foils, insulated desktops, articles of clothing manufactured from man-made fibers Boards must only be placed on conductive surfaces. ‘When soldering, the soldering iron tip must be grounded. Boards and components should only be stored and transported in conductive packaging (e.g metalized plastic boxes, metal containers) I me packing material is not conductive, the boards must be wrapped with a conductive packing material, e.g. conductive foam rubber or household aluminum foil The necessary ESD protective measures are clearly shown in the following diagram, Conductive floor surtace d= ESD overall ESD table e= ESD chain ESD shoes f = Cabinet ground connection Seated Standing Standing / sitting 8 Eten 05.05 Siemens AG Ok te. 237841 SHEADYND Horovare User Warua, Frontplatte Flachbaugruppe froniplate printed - circuit module emt oe sense ‘Pov ach ON 4BpSO EE 529) atvoc 0110 vercnmutrngsins? teen ert " aactaaterent| Gerene Tie tom) Fanton x6 [Ow -Seawr Fer Opt Coonecir |8R2416 ST-Arscnus | Emplanow Hebraatsstor | Ressner ‘9LeFermat 292412203 mm) Poten Fibe Opts Coomecir | HFBRIAND SIP 2) Grtastree im Uouorrpetget 1 Gntsuniae (YEPSt 9 SE) mene smann sonnel poy means Mabbild dimension diagram I] Ratmersopptang WL ESP 3SE.465660.9013.00 MB r = Z z _ Ordering drawing Connecting cable SC.49 00 86-6 3SE 465 684900900 16 |, ee ee i i ¥ Bee cere a pease | | ae i uy Ht ar 1 ‘| haf r ity | it a | lc 3s Sere screened round cable, Hvisled airs H uy hee Ordering drawing Pr a 0 Connecting cable SC 50 00 utes | sate 6 3SE 465 684.9050,00 2-76 |“ 2000815: 8 | 49) OEY 682 lesen IONE 0 red 3+ TSscre sereened raved cable A th-pn socket sompecar OM 41683 °) 14abe! or ten Bin type Orcer MA ane pe Lebel with pe deder No. product Ks gled tet gochese Ordering drawing Saas ro Connecting cable SC51 soowas-oF oe tye sma ai jiemens AG) 3SE 465 684 905100 2-16 ae Ordering drawing = Ts Connecting cable SC5& 3SE 465 684.9054 002-76 |,
