About eGov Foundation:

Does ‘Solving for the Billions’ excite you?

At eGov, we firmly believe that working together to solve real world problems will
accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs) and improve the
quality of life for ordinary citizens. Started in 2003 as a philanthropic foundation by Nandan
Nilekani and Srikanth Nadhamuni, eGov has a bold vision to provide transparent and
inclusive public services in 30 countries by 2030. Our open technology platform - the
DIGIT Stack - powers this ambition and makes it possible!
We are looking for dynamic, committed and passionate individuals who are genuinely
interested in understanding and solving real world problems to join our team. We promise

that will bring about real impact and solve societal challenges.
We are funded by Tata Trusts, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Omidyar Network India

management domains. We currently work with 7 countries & 16 sub-national

Position : Software Engineer

Role and responsibilities/Skills required


● Basic understanding of OOPS concepts and Java
● Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, and SQL.
● Effective verbal and written communication skills.
● Ability to collaborate within project teams and across various groups.
● Demonstrates good judgment in prioritizing tasks and escalating issues when
necessary.
● Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently under guidance.

The person we are looking for…


• You are curious and always seeking newer and better ways of solving
problems…always tinkering. Breaking toys to see how they work are qualities that
you had as a kid.

• You have effective verbal and written communication skills.

• You collaborate and work well with other within across teams
