(IDDM-SME) of aerospace systems headquartered in Pune are a young
deep tech Indian Startup with more than 7 years of experience
specialising in 4 products and 1 service verticals for Aerospace and
Defence Sector.

We are looking to recruit a Design Engineer - Launch and Recovery


Division.

Ideal for Candidates who want to pursue New Product Development roles
at Deep-Tech/ Aerospace and Defence Companies.

No of Positions - 10
Joining - Immediate
Location - Koregaon Park, Pune [Travel whenever necessary]
Pay Grade - As per industry standards with performance linked incentives
Experience - 0 to 2 years
Compulsory Service - 12 to 18 Months

sector:

Civilian UAVs- Surveillance, Mapping, Delivery,Search and Rescue


drones,High Altitude Telecommunications.

Military Aircrafts - Unmanned Aerial Targets, Glide Bombs, Loitering


Munition,Cruise Missiles.

These products are designed through Model Based Design and Advanced
Manufacturing have been qualified as per MIL standards and deployed
across airborne and land applications with UAV users.
Our clientele includes Defence labs, DPUs , Worldwide Defense OEMs,
Startups and Research Labs.

The Position:

As a Design Engineer, it is expected from the Candidate to independently


work on new product development and upgradation of existing systems.
Candidates shall also formalise and execute processes for manufacturing
launchers, user demonstration , customer field trials and interact with
defence forces.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Candidates will be responsible for overall design and development


of Launchers from concept to delivery.

Preparation of drawings, Bill of Material, Raw Material Selection,


Component selection and manufacturing process

Oversee the manufacturing and integration of Launchers with


production department

Kinematic Simulation and Rendering.

Participation in user trials and product demonstrations with Flight


Operations team

Preparation,Updation and Optimization of reports and manuals

Management of Product Life Cycle

Qualifications and Skills required:

Minimum Qualification - Bachelors in Aerospace/Mechanical


Engineering

Strong Fundamentals of Machine Design,Strength of Material,


Fluid Dynamics and Manufacturing Processes.

Excellent CAD skills [SOLIDWORKS/CATIA]

Advanced knowledge of ANSYS Workbench

Good written and spoken English.

Strong Interpersonal and Cross Functional team work skills.

Note: The role requires regular travel (short trips) for assisting the
Flight Operations team for user trials with various customers .
