My career choice

It might be now or later, but at some

point everyone will have a career
choice, some people are quite solid
on theirs and some may be a bit
shaky, when it comes to me, my
choice may be temporary, but I'm
quite firm on my decision to what I
want to be when I grow up.
What is psychology?

Psychology in my own definition, is the study of

the human brain, human behavior, how humans
interact and carry out day to day activities.
Psychology is the scientific study of how people
behave, think and feel. Psychologists study
everything about the human experience from
the basic workings of the human brain to
consciousness, memory, reasoning and language
to personality and mental health.
This can be subconscious or conscious behavior.
How I got inspired

This dates back to around 10 years ago,

when I was three. I remember my dad and I
watching shows about crimes and serial
killers, and whenever I would watch these
with my dad, he would ask me,
"intombazana yakho, sithandwa sami, what
do you think about this person, how do you
think about this person's mindset, and I
would often really sit down and ask myself,
really what is going through this persons'
head?
That’s when I was around 7 years old, I
found out it was all about psychology, their
psychological behavior, but back then I
didn’t really know what it was, the word
was like a tongue twister, with me trying to
say it in one go without stuttering.
Then around 4 years ago, I started watching
You tube channels about psychology and the
human brain, and through the years,
my curiosity increased, my eager brain
wanted to learn more and these simple
psychology tricks on quora on how to trick
your friends was not feeding my needs to
know more about such a fascinating topic.
I returned to the nostalgia of my dad and I
watching documentaries came back to me,
crime doers and trying to find out how
they do such things and what their mindset
was.
This turned into me discovering a famous
female psychologist named Anna Freud who
made a difference in the psychology world
and one day I hope to become like her.
 I have been researching on different
psychologists and how they attained such
fame.
What am I I have been doing my researching on different
cases on my own.
doing so far to I am going to apply for MIT to study
achieve this psychology as my major
I also have a psychology book of my own
goal? where I document my analysis on different
people who I meet in my day to day life and
how they carry out activities and interact
with different people and situations.

Conclusion

Psychology is such an
intriguing topic once you get
to understand it, it is what
inspires me more each day,
which is why I have chosen it
as my career path.
