Flight environment
1. Outdoor flight (recommended): The GPS functions of the DR-POWER HD can only be used outdoors. For optimal
GPS signal reception choose large spaces with no obstacles or metal objects nearby.
2. Flying indoors (not recommended): The DR-POWER HD is difficult to navigate in confined spaces, is not suitable
for indoor flying, the drone and its environment could be damaged.
The performance and accuracy of GPS functions vary depending on the quality of the satellite coverage and your
geographic location. Please do not use GPS functions if the satellite coverage is insufficient.

Remarks:
- Do not use in extreme temperatures (very cold or very hot), as this may damage or impair the flight performance of the
drone.
- Do not fly in windy weather, flight performance and control of the aircraft may be altered due to wind. It could also take
away or damage the drone.

How to install the camera on the drone:

The removable camera is attached to a rectangular support, consisting of an SD port, an antenna, two connectors (3 and
4 pins) and a rail to attach it to the drone. The support fits on the drone in one direction (2).
1. Connectors: Please connect the (female) connectors on the bottom of the bracket to the connectors (male) located
under the drone (1). The connectors have markers and are connected in one direction only.
2. Cables: Once plugged in, carefully position the cables in the curved part of the stand to avoid damaging them.
3. Support: Once the connectors are plugged in and the cables in place, position the support under the drone, the
camera should be facing the front of the drone. Please slide the bracket into the mounting rails on the underside of the
drone from the front of the drone rearward (3).
Note: Never crush or pull directly on the cables during media installation.

How to remove the camera from the drone:

1. Support: Please carefully slide the support towards the front of the drone (opposite direction of the installation) in order
to access the connectors located under the support. Never pull or exert pressure on the cables.
2. Connectors: To disconnect the camera and remove the support from the drone, please gently pull on the connectors until
both connectors are unplugged.

Note: In order to limit the wear of your drone and its accessories, we recommend to always leave the camera installed
on the drone and to carry out the operations described above as little as possible.

The propellers of the drone are provided with marks A and B and are diagonally
opposite. Each propeller is blocked by a screw and fits on the rotor in one direction.

1. Clockwise rotating propellers (A on the diagram) on the front left engine and the right rear engine.
2. Anti-clockwise rotation propellers (B on the diagram) on the right front engine and the left rear engine.
3. To replace the propellers, first unscrew the screw on the rotor below the blades. (Figure 1).
4. After removing the screw, please pull the damaged propeller up to remove it from the rotor.
5. Replace the damaged propeller with a new propeller of the same type (A or B).
6. New propellers must be fully depressed. Then screw on the screw on the rotor (Figure 2)
Caution: When installing, be sure to align the screw with the holes on the propeller and rotor.

Note: Any maintenance or repair operation on the drone must be performed with the battery disconnected.
Broken or damaged propellers must be replaced by new propellers. To ensure optimal operation, always use original
propellers.

How to install propellers guards

Indoor flight:
The propeller protections are ideal to learn to drive and discover his
drone, they protect your environment from any potential damage related
to the use of the drone indoors.

Outdoor flight:
In order to guarantee optimum flight performance outdoors, it is
recommended to remove the propeller protections.

Start to fly (without the app)
To learn how to fly we recommend to control your drone only with the radio remote control.
The GPS functions of the DR-POWER HD can be used only when the drone is connected to the mobile application.
Follow the instructions below to start controlling the DR-POWER HD only with the remote control:

1. Initialization (radio control off): Place the drone on a flat surface and press the On / Off button for a long time, the
indicator lights of the drone will flash slowly indicating the pairing search.
2. Pairing: Turn on the remote control by pushing the ON / OFF button. This will sound an audible alarm (beep) indicating
the frequency search, its indicator light will begin to flash (down). Push the joystick left up and then down (beep beep) to
connect the remote control to the drone (Figure 1). The indicator light is fixed (low).
3. Indicator: Once the connection is established, 3 of the 4 lights of the drone will stop flashing.
4. Ignition: To start the engines of the drone, please simultaneously orient the two joysticks diagonally inwards (Figure 2).
The engines come on and the propellers start to turn, the drone is ready to take off.
5. Takeoff: To take off the drone manually, gently aim the joystick left up (Figure 4). The autostart function is only available
when the app is connected to the drone.
6. Landing: To land hold the left joystick down until the drone lands on the ground (Figure 4). You can also use the
autostart / landing button, the drone will land regardless of its altitude.
7. Photo / Video: To take a photo press the Photo / Video button (beep). To start / stop a video recording press and hold
the Photo / Video button (Figure 5). The radio control will beep twice (beep beep) and the indicator light will flash for the
duration of the video recording (red).
8. Manual engine shutdown: When the drone is on a level surface and with the motors unlocked (started), you can stop the
engines by simultaneously pointing both joysticks diagonally out (Figure 3).
9. Emergency stop: In the event of an in-flight collision or loss of control of the UAV: Use the emergency stop function by
simultaneously pointing the joysticks diagonally outward (Figure 3).
10. Battery: When the lights on the drone start flashing quickly: land and charge the battery.

Note: Please always keep your drone on view. In case of low battery level or loss of signal, the drone will
land automatically. PNJ does not guarantee the loss of your drone.
