Polygons are 2-dimensional shapes.

They are made of straight lines, and the shape is "closed" (all the lines
connect up).

A regular polygon is a polygon with congruent sides and equal angles. The examples of regular polygons
include equilateral triangle, square,
Parallelogram - Area

You can write the formula for the area of a parallelogram as:
area = base × height
or simply A = bh
• Like other quadrilaterals, the sum of all the four angles of the trapezium is equal to 360°
• A trapezium has two parallel sides and two non-parallel sides.
• The parallel sides of a trapezium are called bases and the
• non-parallel sides of a trapezium are called legs.
• The diagonals of regular trapezium bisect each other.
• The adjacent interior angles sum up to 180°.
• The sum of all the interior angles in a trapezium is always 360°.
• In a regular trapezium, the other two non-parallel sides are equal,
• Irregular trapezium the two non-parallel opposite sides, are unequal.

Types and Properties
•Scalene Trapezium - A trapezium with all
the sides not equal is called a scalene
trapezium. In a scalene trapezium, no two
angles are equal
•Isosceles Trapezium - The trapezium which
has an equal length of legs is called an
isosceles trapezium, i.e. in an Isosceles
Trapezium, the two non-parallel sides are
equal.
•Right Trapezium - A trapezium that has a
right angle pair, adjacent to each other is
known as a right trapezium.
