APPLIANCE CONFIGURATION SWITCH(ES)

Switch Package

Switch 1 OFF is for Local Control, the selected tone (identified on Switches 5, 6, and 7) will play when power is applied. When
Switch 1 is OFF, you will program the NAC circuit wired to this device as a conventional hardwired signal circuit choosing a point
type of SSIGNAL, RSIGNAL, or SIGNAL. This device could also be wired to any competitor's fire alarm panel that provides a
typical reverse polarity NAC circuit.

Switch 1 ON says that the panel selected tone plays when commanded by the panel per SmartSync cadence. The point type for
the device wired to this circuit would be programmed as SQALERT or QALERT.

Switch 2 OFF means the output volume will be high, ON for low.

Switch 3 OFF selects SmartSync 60bpm. ON selects SmartSync 20bpm, a Canadian requirement.
American versions of these units play MARCHTIME 60bpm no matter how Switch 3 is configured.

Switch 4 is always set to ON....setting this Switch to OFF will disable the horn.

Switches 5, 6, and 7 determine the tone that will be played.

Switch 8 set to OFF
