Stereoscopic parallax is set up in the next section. 3D Camera Viewer takes pictures/movies by using this
setting.
The shooting range is changed according to the settings of the stereoscopic parallax.

3D Camera Setup User's Manual

? What is Stereoscopic parallax?

Stereoscopic parallax is the difference between the images taken by the right/left camera which are positioned
differently.

i Adjustment of Stereoscopic parallax
If you adjust the stereoscopic parallax toward objects that are too close to the cameras, part of images will not
be viewed stereoscopically. Please adjust stereoscopic parallax at the recommended position.
The parallax is generated when the distance between the two images is adjusted so they are sufficiently far
apart to make binocular vision possible.
Do not increase the amount of the parallax so much that the right eye image does not fuse with the image of
the left eye; doing so will make the images appear like a double image when the parallax is too great.

2.2.6. 3D Camera Setup – Confirmation of 3D Images

Confirm that you are in the appropriate position for watching the display.
Look at the display wearing 3D glasses with one of your eyes closed.
If you see 4 red circles or green squares, you are in the right position to view 3D images.

If you want to reverse the right and left camera images, click the check box next to "Reverse the right and left
images".

When you click [OK], the setting of the 3D camera ends, and it becomes an environment in which you can watch

stereoscopically.
- Objects that are viewed from too far away or with insufficient lighting may be difficult to view
stereoscopically.
