SYSTEM H61 -Universalsystem – high end solution –

correspondens to all requirem ents of the medium sized and large enterprises to modern in-house
communication 7and logistics .
The system works in Computer-technics, the stations are equ ipped with LCD-display and
keyboard.

Hörtig rohrpost offers various accessories an d customer specified devices es pecially with the
System H61.

The system H61 for 32,000 stations in the diverter-

and/or passage-principle with a multitude of station
variants for 1 to 6-digit coder selection correspondens
to all requirements of the middle-size and large enterprise to
modern communication and logistics.

The system works in Mc - technics, the stations are equipped Remote control
with LC-display and numerical keyboard.

For sending and receiving the same conveyor tube is used, the direction of transport is
controlled by means of the switching over from sucking to blowing air at the blower.

At the sending stations the respectively destination is selected and the carrier will be transported
automatically.

The palette of accessories ranges from a standard interface for record printer, system self-control,
speed-control of the driving carrier, remote maintenance up to the priority-switching or switching off of
single stations in case of absence.
The HÖRTIG Air Tube Transport System H61 is used for the transport of delivery notes, invoices,
electronic data lists, photos and films, tools, samples, laboratory specismen, glasses, remedies,
marking plates, wheigt notes and other vouchers in all branches of enterprises, as well as for the trans-
port of blood and X-ray photographs, proscriptions a.s.o. in the field of hospitals.

bus) it is not necessary for the m ain-controller to ask the stations for information.
· The bus can guarantee a transmission time of 20 ms for any information (real-time)
· Up to 128 members on the bus (nodes)
· Very long distance without repeaters (up to 1 km / 10 k Baud)
· very secure data transmiss ion (6 bit Hamming distance)
· the bus system is hot-change capable. Components can be changed, while the s ystem is
working.
· the system is error passive. This means that components which fail will not caus e problem
on the other devices on the bus.

· Auto-purge after several errors the s ystem start a IPurge

order – this will save a lot of tim e. The carrier will arrive at the original destination number
or at the sender or at the def ault station.

B) double carrier detected becaus e of:

- switch distance time
- switch double detected
C) IPurge
D) Sender error – e.g. carrier taken out of station r ight before start
E) Receiver error – e.g. basket full and blocked

· All mechanical blockages are un-blocked by the trouble shoot er software. This is moving
the motors both directions and s witching air until detecting a car rier in the system or free
the motor.
· The trouble shooter tries to free m otors 5 times before is give up this trials and set the
device on “damaged”. These att empts are performed while no c arrier is sent by the user.
· Section error: if a part of t he system is in trouble, the system will no m ore use this section,
but continue with the other stations. The inform ation about a section error is gi ven out on
the Error-relay on the controller.
· If the system cannot work an y more, e.g. no blower air, th e system will switch off and
activate the Off-relay on the controller

These large number of error management algorithms is unique on the m arket. We have
analysed all our 37 year experie nce on tube systems to find the m ost probable errors of tube
systems and we have developed h ard and software to inhibit or automatic solve this trouble.

Jede Automatik-Station enthält
10 Ausgänge für Ankunftsignale
Im Normalfall hat jede Station im System eine
feste Stations-Nummer, die alle anderen
Stationen im System anwählen, wenn diese zu
ihr Transportbehälter senden wollen.
Mit einer Mehrzieleinrichtung können einer
einzigen Station 10 verschiedene Stations-
Nummern zugeordnet werden.
Die Systemteilnehmer können nun an alle
10 Unternummern dieser Station senden.
Nach Ankunft des Transportbehälters an der so
ausgerüsteten Station ist die Lampe des
abgesetzten Ankunftssignals aktiv - bis zur
Abstellung durch den Empfänger.
Das abgesetzte Ankunftsignal besteht aus
einer blinkenden Lampe und einem
Summer. Ankunftsignale können in jedem
beliebigen Raum installiert werden, um
dem jeweiligen Systemteilnehmer anzuzeigen,
daß an der Rohrpoststation eine für ihn
bestimmte Sendung angekommen ist.
Eine Aufrüstung auf weitere 10 abgesetzte
Ankunftsignale ist möglich.

Each automatic-station provides
10 arriving signal outputs
Normally each station has one number, which
will be dialed from any other station to send a
carrier to this station.
With using the multi-number feature one
station gets up to 10 numbers. Now the user
in front of any other station can send a carrier
not only to this station, what means that the
carrier falls in this basket - he can also send it
to one of the 10 subnumbers of this station.
The effect will be, that the carrier arrives in the
basket and the related arriving signal lamp is
activated.
Now the user goes to the station, takes the
carrier and pushes a button to cancel the
signal lamp.
The remoted arriving signal consists of a
blinking lamp and a buzzer. The device can
be installed in any office room and will indicate
to a person, that a carrier for its number
arrived and is lying in the basket under the
station. If 10 signals per station are not
sufficient we can supply a expansion board
with further 10 signals.

Leer-Behälter-Rücktransport
Die Transportbehälter sind mit einem
Transponder-Chip ausgestattet, der es ermöglicht,
den Behälter zu identifizieren, und seine
Heimatstation zu lesen.
Der Einsatz dieser Methode ist äußerst einfach
und zuverlässig.
Der Behälter wird nur in die Station gestellt und
die Taste für Rückfahrt betätigt.
Der Behälter wird dann automatisch vom System
gelesen und zu seinem Heimatbahnhof
gefahren.
Der wesentliche Vorteil des Systems ist, dass
jeder Station eine bestimmte Anzahl von
Behältern zugeordnet werden kann.
Dadurch können für spezielle Gegenstände
auch bestimmte Verpackungen im Behälter
mitgeführt werden.
Die Zahl der Leer-Behälter-Speicher wird durch
die Transpondertechnik erheblich reduziert.

Transport of empty carriers
In the carriers a transponder-chip is
installed. It is possible with it to identify the
carrier and to read its home-station.
This method is very simple and reliable.
The user only has to put the carrier into the
station and to push the button for sending back.
The system reads automatically the carrier
and send it back to the station where it comes
from.
The essential advantage of this system is,
that a fixed number of carriers can be assigned
to each station in the system.
Therefore it is possible to use special packing
materials for certain carriers.
The amount of empty-carrier-storages will be
reduced to a minimum.

Das Zusatz-Netzteil wird verwendet:
- bei Kabelstrecken länger als ca. 500m
- bei mehr als ca. 20 Stationen im System
Wird zusätzlich eine Potentialtrennung gewünscht
(z.B. zwischen zwei Gebäuden oder zur Stromver-
stärkung), so ist das Zusatznetzteil 1.1111.0.E1 zu
verwenden.
(= Bridge 1.1062.0.58
bestückt mit einem DC/DC Wandler 240VA).
Die externe Stromversorgung für die weiterführende Anlage
wird dann an den Klemmen „Power“ angeschlossen.
