I. Overview of the incident

On March 20, 2024, Mobile World Investment Joint Stock Company will hold a press
conference to resolve the media crisis related to employee layoff rumors. This press
conference will include sharing information and answering questions related to the crisis
situation with reporters and press present at the event and the entire public and customers
interested in the incident as well as Like the sponsors and partners who have always trusted

MWG's strategic team immediately provided feedback to all employees, stakeholders as


well as press and media agencies.

agencies to inform consumers that rumors of mass layoffs of 12,000 employees were
untrue.

Specifically, in the financial report dated September 30, 2022, the way to calculate the
number of employees is based on the number of people whose salaries were transferred at the
time of reporting, so including personnel who have finished working at the company but

If considering the same calculation method based on the actual number of employees
working at the time of reporting, as of September 30, 2022, the number of MWG employees
is 77,092 people.

Thus, the actual number of employees changing at Mobile World is about 9,000 people in 6
months, a rate of 12%. For a company with a very large number of employees, up to 70,000
employees, the turnover rate of 9,000 people in 6 months is a natural fluctuation rate, this
number is completely normal compared to the industry average, about 15 .6%"
