Healthy Me Song

Verse 1: (Tune: “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”)

Eating fruits and veggies, oh so bright,

Makes me healthy, strong, and light.
Carrots, apples, spinach too,
Every color’s good for you!
Eating fruits and veggies, oh so bright,
Makes me healthy, strong, and light.

Chorus: (Tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know It”)

If you're healthy and you know it, clap your hands,

If you're healthy and you know it, clap your hands,
If you're healthy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it,
If you're healthy and you know it, clap your hands.

Verse 2: (Tune: “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”)

Run, run, run around, exercise is fun,

Hop and skip and jump and play, moving everyone!
Dance, dance, dance along, shake your body free,
Exercise helps you stay strong, happy as can be!

Chorus: (Tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know It”)

If you're healthy and you know it, stomp your feet,
If you're healthy and you know it, stomp your feet,
If you're healthy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it,
If you're healthy and you know it, stomp your feet.

Verse 3: (Tune: “Mary Had a Little Lamb”)

Brush your teeth both day and night, every day and every night,
Keep them clean and shining bright, oh so nice and white!
Wash your hands before you eat, scrub away the dirt,
Healthy habits keep you neat, fresh and clean, no hurt!

Chorus: (Tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know It”)

If you're healthy and you know it, give a cheer,

If you're healthy and you know it, give a cheer,
If you're healthy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it,
If you're healthy and you know it, give a cheer.

Verse 4: (Tune: “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”)

Get your sleep each night, so sweet,

Helps you grow from head to feet.
Dreams will take you far away,
Rest and play another day!
Get your sleep each night, so sweet,
Helps you grow from head to feet.

Chorus: (Tune: “If You’re Happy and You Know It”)

If you're healthy and you know it, shout hooray,

If you're healthy and you know it, shout hooray,
If you're healthy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it,
If you're healthy and you know it, shout hooray.
