1. This Office through the Cuiriculuin ImplenieinaSKjn Division iCIDi in partnership

with Far Eastern University (FEU) Department of Language and Literature shall
conduct an onsite and online training titled "Engfisli Language awH Literature
Advancement Program TEAR 3, a Tulong - Guro: Support Program, for Professional
Teachers ofLanguage and Literature^. The ELLA 2024 Lecture Series wiU be conducted
on Wednesdays and Saturdays of July 2024 horn 9:00 am to 4:00 pm via Zoom.
Culmination of the activity will be on July 27, 2024 at Far Eastern University, Nicanor
Reyes Si. Sampaloc Manilji.

2. This training aims to achieve the following objectives:

a. adapt to the latest trends in teaching and learning grammar,
b. apply and implement different approaches in enhancing reading literacy and
language learning,
c. utilize different methods in developing students’ phonological awareness,
vocabulary, and word study and;
d. apply different strategies in teaching comprehension, text analysis, and
composition.

3. Attached is the Training Schedule.

4. Compensatory Time-Off or Service Credits shall be granted to successful

participants upon completion and presentation of required documents.

5. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
