Description : : Smoking policies and smoking cessation activities are two different approaches
to reduce the negative effect of smoking . Smoking policies are rules and regulations that prohibit
smoking in the hospital premises and all public places . On the other hand, smoking cessation
activities are programs designed to help smokers quit smoking . These programs can include
telephone counseling, nicotine replacement therapy, and behavioural therapy. Both smoking policies
and smoking cessation activities have been shown to lead to reductions in tobacco use.

Objectives : This program is expected to provide guidance and to raise awareness about the
health risks associated with tobacco use and advocate for effective policies to reduce tobacco
consumption to all. And, the smoking cessation program is expected to be presented to all
smokers. The program can offer direct access to smoking cessation resources, social support and
health coaches.

Expected Output: By this program everyone will be able to understand a smoking cessation
program and effects of smoking by promoting a tobacco-free lifestyles, encourages smoking
cessation, and supports policies to reduce tobacco-related harm.
