Change the following from direct speech to indirect speech:

asked. (c) He asked, “Will you repose trust in such a
person?”
(d) He said, “I shall leave as soon as it is possible.”
(e) The Chairman said, “It gives me immense pleasure to be here this evening.”

Answer

(a) She said she had taken the book home with her.
(b) She said she was going shopping and asked if she could get me
anything. (c) He asked them if they would repose trust in such a person. (d)
He said that he would leave as soon as it was possible.
(e) The Chairman said that it gave him immense pleasure to be there
that evening.

Change the following from direct speech to indirect speech:
