RESOLUTION NO. 1322

The Floor Leader presented the letter, dated June 19, 2024, of the City
Mayor, respectfully transmitting for concurrence the Special Permit under
Control No. 24-00126, even date, issued by the City Mayor to ALIXANDRA
RECREATIONAL CENTER, Barangay Tumaga, this City, to hold a Two (2)-
day Hackfight on July 11 and 12, 2024, and a One (1) day 1-Cock Derby on
July 13, 2024, for the purpose of raising funds for the cleanliness and
beautification activity of the Liga ng mga Barangay Zamboanga Chapter, per
letter, dated June 18, 2024, of Hon. Joseph Daniel R. Evangelista, President,
Liga ng mga Barangay, Zamboanga City Chapter, requesting for the approval
for holding of Derby/Hackfight on dates mentioned therein.

Honorable Vincent Paul A. Elago, in his capacity as Chairperson of the

Committee on Games and Amusements of this August Body, moved to concur
the issuance of the special permit for the holding of Derby/Hackfight on the said
dates.

After due consideration, on motion by Honorable Vincent Paul A. Elago,

jointly and severally seconded by all Members present, it was

RESOLVED, To concur the issuance of the Special Permit by the City

Mayor to ALIXANDRA RECREATIONAL CENTER, Barangay Tumaga, this
City, to hold a Two (2)-day Hackfight on July 11 and 12, 2024, and a One (1)
day 1-Cock Derby on July 13, 2024, for the purpose of raising funds for the
cleanliness and beautification activity of the Liga ng mga Barangay Zamboanga
Chapter, transmitting this resolution, thru the City Mayor, to ALIXANDRA
RECREATIONAL CENTER, thru its Owner/Manager, for appropriate action,
and furnishing a copy hereof to the Liga ng mga Barangay, thru its President,
for information.
