TERMS OF AWARD

ITEM DETAILS
Accommodation A hotel room has been reserved for you during the following
period:

Per Diem A daily training allowance of SGD 130 will be provided to you
from the first day to the last day of the course. Participants are to
bear all expenses prior to receiving the allowance.
Attendance You must strictly observe the course schedule and attend all
training sessions. Participants will receive a certificate of
completion from the SCP upon completion of the course. Leave
of absence has to be substantiated with medical certificates.

ANNEX B
LETTER OF INDEMNITY
15 TO 19 JULY 2024
Dear Sir/Madam
(a) I shall be personally liable for and shall indemnify the Government of the Republic of
Singapore and any statutory board or Singapore entity (whether or not owned or controlled
by the Government of the Republic of Singapore) which I will be visiting as part of my
training in Singapore (each an “Indemnified Party” and collectively the “Indemnified
Parties”) against all liabilities, claims, losses, demands, actions, suits, proceedings, costs
and expenses (“Liabilities”) whatsoever arising under any statute or common law or
contract which may be made against or incurred or become payable by any of the
Indemnified Parties arising out of or in connection with my training in Singapore.
(b) Subject to, and insofar as is not consistent with any written law, I shall absolve all of the
Indemnified Parties and their servants and agents from all liability whatsoever in respect
of any injury including fatal injury, loss, cost or expenses howsoever occasioned and
whether or not by any act, omission or neglect of any of the Indemnified Parties, their
servants or agents which I may suffer or sustain by reason of or during my training in
Singapore.
(c) This letter of indemnity does not create any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third
Parties) Act (Cap 53B, 2002 Rev Ed) which is enforceable by any person that is not a party
to it expect and to the extent which Clause (d) expressly provides for the aforesaid Act to
apply to the terms of Clauses (a) and (b).
(d) An Indemnified Party that is not a party to this letter of indemnity may enjoy the benefit of
and enforce the terms of Clauses (a) and (b) in accordance with the provisions of the
Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B, 2002 Rev Ed).
(a) carry out instructions and abide by such terms and conditions as may be stipulated
by the nominating and host governments in respect of this training course;
(b) abide by the rules and regulations of the training institution in which I undertake to
study in or be trained under;
(c) refrain from bringing along any family member, relative, friend or personal aide
for the duration of the course;

(e) refrain from engaging in political activities and any form of employment for profit
or gain while in Singapore for the course;
(g) discontinue attending the course and inform the Government of the Republic of
Singapore should I be found guilty of misconduct or be medically unfit.
(f) The terms of this Letter and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or
claims) arising out of or in connection with or its subject matter of formation shall be
subject to, governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of
Singapore for every purpose and I agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts
of Singapore.
(g) I fully understand that if I fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions of the training
award as found in the Letter of Acceptance (including Annexes), or fail to comply with
any of the above undertakings, the award will be terminated with immediate effect and I
will be liable to depart from Singapore at my own expense.

ANNEX C
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Please ensure that your travel document has a minimum six-month validity from the date of your
entry into Singapore. Make sure you have the necessary visas, including transit visas, processed
in advance.
Please visit Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website 1 to check if you
require an entry visa to enter Singapore. To apply for a visa, please complete the Visa Application
Form (Form 14A)2 and email the following documents to our officers (please refer to the contact
details at page 2):
▪ A copy of your travel document, clearly stating the dates of issue and expiry of the travel
document;
▪ A completed Form 14A; and
▪ A passport-sized colour photograph (Please see Photo Guidelines3 on requirements).
Prior to your arrival in Singapore, you should receive an electronic visa (e-Visa) issued by ICA.
For entry into Singapore, a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if you have visited
any country at risk of yellow fever transmission in the past six days before arrival in Singapore.
