You will need the following materials:

1. The yarn Gazzal Baby Cotton (40% acrylic, 60% cotton, 225 m/50 g), color № 3412 for
the body – one skein, for the clothes – white (№ 3410), red (№ 3418), blue (№ 3421),
light blue (№ 3429), the hook 1.5 mm.
2. For the hair the yarn Pehorka Beaded (100% acrylic, 450 m/100 g), color № 279 –
champagne, I’ve needed almost a whole skein.
3. Moulinet threads of the white, black, light blue and brown colors for the crocheting of
the eyes, the hook 1 mm.
4. Moulinet thread of the brown color for the embroidering of the brows and mouth.
5. Stuffing.
6. A single core copper electrical wire 2 mm in diameter for the frame of the body, approx.
1,5 m long.
7. An adhesive plaster on the fabric basis for the handling of the wire ends.
8. A needle for the tightenings and for the sewing of the details.
9. The false eyelashes (if you want).
10. Seven buttons for the dress 12-13 mm in diameter.
11. Three buttons for the shoes and rucksack 7-8 mm in diameter.
12. Two white beads 6-7 mm in diameter for the decoration of the rucksack (if you want).
13. Any thin cotton yarn for the embroidery of the rucksack (if you want).
14. Any material for tinting you like.
The size of the ready toy is approx. 35 cm, if using the pointed materials.

Crochet correctly
The toy is crocheted in a spiral without chain in the beginning of the row.
In my crochet patterns I use such term as the beginning of the row. The term marker of the
beginning of the row is not urgent, because I do not use the marker. The beginning of the row
while crocheting of the toy according to my pattern goes along one straight line, in the pattern
it is usually pointed, for example, the beginning of the row is the middle of the back or the
middle of the nape. If it is convenient for you to use the marker, you can use it, for me it is
convenient without a marker. While crocheting the beginning of the row always moves to the
right along the cloth, that’s why it is necessary to crochet the shift stitches, so as the beginning
of the row always will be in one and the same place. It is necessary to crochet the shift stitches
in the course of crocheting of the whole detail over each 2-5 rows, it depends on your gauge
and the yarn you use. We will not consider in the description these shift stitches, we need
them, so as the beginning of the row always goes straightly during crocheting of the whole
detail, so as all the decreases and increases appeared to be on their places and the knees,
elbows and also the arms-legs while crocheting in the details appeared to be on their places.

Wind the yarn Pehorka Beaded on a book or a notebook and cut (the length is on your discretion, the
length of my thread is approx. 50 cm, folded in half – 25 cm).
Attach the hair as follows: insert the hook from within the head in the center of the magic ring and take
it outside, grasp a thread folded in half and stretch in inside the head. Step the necessary space and
insert the hook in the nest stitch, the loop is on the hook. Grasp the next «hair» folded in half and
stretch it inside the head through the previous loop, which was left on the hook. Further grasp the next
«hairs» by the same way and stretch them inside the head, at the same time on the wrong side we get a
chain from the loops. Each time, stretching a loop, pull it as tight to the head as possible. Attach the hair
in the circular rows till the 11th row inclusive in each row and in each stitch.

Now mark a hair growth line with a contrast thread at the nape, considering that the beginning of the
row is the middle of the nape.
Continue attaching the hair inside this contour over 1 row and over 1 stitch. At the border of the
contour attach the hair in each row and in each stitch. Sew the last loop with a thread of the same color.

Choose the points for the tightenings. Mark two points in the 28th row (the row of dec for the cheeks) –
these will be the points 1 (the upper left point at the photo) and 2 (the upper right point at the photo),
between these points there are approx. 8 sc. Step 7 rows down and mark two more points – these will
be the points 3 (the lower left point at the photo) and 4 (the lower right point at the photo), between
these points there are approx. 8 sc.
Insert a needle in the opening in the head and take it out in the point 1, step one stitch, insert a needle
and take it out in the point 3, step one stitch, insert a needle and return to the beginning point 1,
tightening a thread, repeat this several times, all the time tightening a thread, then from the point 1
take out a needle in the point 4, step one stitch, insert a needle and take it out in the point 2, step one
stitch, insert a needle and take it out again in the point 4, repeat this several times, all the time
tightening a thread, then take out a thread in the opening for the neck and fasten it off.

the light blue color (the right side of the dress looks on you), crochet along the skirt with sc,
simultaneously crocheting the loops for the buttons (I have 4 loops, each consists of 4 ch). Further
crochet along the bottom of the skirt:
26 rnd: ch, turn, (ch, sl st) in each sc of the previous row till the end of the row
Do not cut the yarn, crochet along the second lateral side of the skirt with sc.
Crochet along the lateral side and top of the dress with the red yarn as follows: 13 sc along one side,
along the top crochet 8 sc, dec х 2, 6 sc, dec х 2, 16 sc, dec х 2, 6 sc, dec х 2, 8 sc, crochet along the other
side with sc, simultaneously crocheting the loops for the buttons, define the size of the loops according
to your buttons (I have 3 loops, each consists of 4 ch, between the loop there are 3 sc). Crochet round
only till the beginning of the light blue rows. Fasten off, cut and hide the red yarn.

Sew the buttons, embroider the anchor on the yoke. The dress is ready.
Shoes
The beginning of the row is the middle of the heel.
Crochet chain 15 ch, from the second loop from the hook crochet the sole:

Crochet one more similar sole, but do not cut the yarn, apply them by the wrong sides to each other and
connect them with each other with sl st. Cut the yarn and hide the end.

part of the shoe at the side opposite to the strap, from the 5th sl st begin crocheting the toe of the shoe

sl st) in each stitch till the end of the row. Fasten off, cut the yarn, hide the end.

Attach the yarn to the last row of the rucksack (before beginning of the cover) and crochet chain of 40
ch, sl st in the 35 hdc of the bottom of the rucksack, sl st in the 36 hdc of the bottom, 40 hdc along the
chain, sl st in the cloth of the rucksack, 7 ch, sl st in the cloth of the rucksack, 40 ch, sl st in the 46 hdc of
the bottom of the rucksack, sl st in the 47 hdc of the bottom, 40 hdc along the chain, sl st in the cloth of
the rucksack. Fasten off, cut the yarn, hide the end.
Sew the button. Decorate the rucksack as you like. I embroidered a ship. The scheme is below, you can
choose a picture on your own discretion.

Crochet chain of 65 ch, fasten off, cut the yarn, insert a lace in the holes in the 23 row and decorate the
ends of a lace with beads. The rucksack is ready.
Now dress up our girl and give her the rucksack, or hang it on her shoulder ;-)
