PURPOSE

The geared trolley is driven with hand chain. It runs along the I Beam. While plain
trolley is driven with hand. The object is pulled by handand the chain block is hooked
under the trolley and in this way the chain block can bemoved. The trolley can be
equipped on straight beam, bent beam single track transmission line or manual single
beam bridge type cantilever lifting machine. It is widely used in factories, docks,
boatyards, warehouse and machinery houses forequipment installation and lifting,
especially for equipment maintenance in place where is no power.
Features
1. Safe to workand convenient to maintain.
2. The structure is compact and the mounting size is small. It easy to adjust the space of
idler wheel’s flange according to the width of orbit.
3. The axes of idler wheel have rolling axletree, which can run with high efficiency and
need very small push and pull force
4. The idler wheel adopts special tread, which make it can run along the beam with the
pitch over 1:6 or under 1:6 to the plane.
5. The wheel has rim, so it can run on the smaller radius of curvature bend.
Structure
1. Geared trolley structure as shown in figure 1, it consist of left side plate (10), right side
plate (7), hoist shaft (6), lifting rings (8), hand chain wheel (3) and driving axis (4).
2. Plain trolley structure as shown in figure 2, it also consist of left side plate (10) right
side plate (7), hoist shaft (6), lifting rings (8).
3. Both left and right side plate of the trolley’s have roller (1). The hoist shaft goes
through the left and right side plate, and is tightened wit nut (12). The rings should be
installed in the middle of shaft and the chain block flag on the lifting ring.
4. The 20-ton geared trolley is consisted of two 10-ton single-track geared trolleys which
are connected with special lifting ring.
5. As for the geared trolley, pull the hand chain (5), and the driving axis (4) will ratate,
and the gear (2) will take the roller (1) to run along the track. As for the plain trolley,
just push the object and the trolley will travel along the track.
6. To fit with different requirements for the track width (M), adjusting washer (11) can
be used to adjust the space inside and outside of the plates.
Installation
1. When install the trolley, the washers on both sides of the side plates shall be equal. To
keep the gap between the side of the track and the rolling wheels (F), the quantity of
the washer are allowed to be adjusted. (Figure 1 and Figure 2)
2. After installing the trolley on the track, lock the screw on the lifting shaft (12), and
then put on light load and try running. After the rolling wheel is connected with the
track, tighten the screws outside. Take care that the screws must lock tightly with each
other.
3. After the geared trolley is installed, the gap between the rolling sleeve (9) and the
bottom of the track (F) shall be adjusted and make it reach specified value (Figure 1).
The adjusting methode is as follow: loosen the screw (14), move the rolling sleeve shaft
(13) and tighten the screw after it reaches the specified value.
NOTES :
1. Must not use the trolley with over load.
2. Any one must not walk or work under the heavy object when the trolley is lifting.
3. When the trolley is working, if the hand chain is hard to pull or the pull force is
abnormal, must not yank it. Stop immediately and check if there is any trouble or if
the object is binding with other thing.
4. When use the geared trolley, do not pull the hand chain sidealong at the plane which
is not the plane of the hand chain wheel to avoid the hand chain flopping or binding.
5. Bearing, gear and the surface of the track shall be lubricated with grease periodicly.
