You will learn how to select a printer for

output of a layout and configure printer
options.

1. Open the file PRINT_01.dwg.

2. Select the Furniture Plan layout tab.

3. Right-click the Furniture Plan layout tab
and select Plot.

4. In the Plot dialog, click Cancel.

5. Right-click the Furniture Plan layout tab

and select Page Setup Manager.

6. In the Page Setup Manager dialog, click
Modify.

7. In the Page Setup dialog, in the

Printer/plotter group, expand the Name
drop-down. Select DWG to PDF.pc3.

8. In the Paper size group, expand the drop-

down and select ANSI A (8.50 x 11.00
Inches).

9. In the Printer/plotter group, hover the
cursor over the preview to display a
tooltip that indicates the printable area.

10. In the Plot area group, expand the What

to plot drop-down and select Layout.

11. In the Plot scale group, expand the Scale

drop-down and select 1:1.

12. Click OK to close the Page Setup dialog.

13. In the Page Setup Manager dialog, in the
Selected page setup details group, the
information matches the preferences
specified. Click Close.
