Details
EHT Trip With Dirty Printhead

Symptoms
• EHT Trip Fault
• Ink build up on the high voltage plate
• Excessive current in the EHT circuit as measured by the CSB

Solution
1. Verify ink viscosity - 1000 Series Viscosity Troubleshooting Guide
2. Stop the jet and clean the printhead. (See Cleaning a Dirty Printhead)
3. Restart the jet.
4. If ink builds up when the printer is in idle, stop the jet and perform a Nozzle
Flush (See Nozzle Flush Procedure - 1000 Series)

5. If Ink builds up when printing messages, stop the jet and Calibrate the EHT.
