DEFINATION
A sentence that asks a question is called an
INTERROGATIVE sentence.
EXAMPLES
What is your name?
Is he not a bright student?
Are you trying to understand? Etc…
EXAMPLES
please help me with the boxes. (request)
Bring me another tea. (command)
Don’t go there alone at night. ( advice’/ suggestion)
EXAMPLES
Wow! It is brilliant idea!
What a lovely dress you have!
