2 ENGLISH GRAMMAR
DEFINATION
English grammar is the rules and regulation of
English language is called English grammar.

No one can learn language with out grammar


So if you want to learn language the grammar
Will be necessary for you to learn it.

3 SENTENCE
When we speak or write we use words. Because with out words
how can We communicate?
So with out words we cannot communicate properly.
DEFINATION
A group of words like this, which makes a complete
sense, is called a sentence.
EXAMPLES Amirsohail educational channel

He is going to school.


She is writing a letter.
We are trying to understand.

SUBJECT PREDICATE
The part which name the person or
thing we are speaking about this is The part which tell something
called subject of a sentence About the subject is called
OR Predicate of the sentence.
A subject is the person or thing that
doing an action,

EXAMPLES He is going to school.

5 Kinds of sentence
Sentence are of four kinds

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE
IMPERATIVE SENTENCE
EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE
DECLARATIVE SENTENCE

6 (1)INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE
DEFINATION
A sentence that asks a question is called an
INTERROGATIVE sentence.

EXAMPLES
What is your name?
Is he not a bright student?
Are you trying to understand? Etc…

7 (2) IMPERATIVE SENTENCE
DEFICATION
A sentence that express a command, request or advice is called
an IMPERATIVE sentence.

EXAMPLES
 please help me with the boxes. (request)
 Bring me another tea. (command)
 Don’t go there alone at night. ( advice’/ suggestion)

(3) EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE
DEFINATION
A sentence that expresses strong feeling is called an
EXCLAMATORY sentence.

EXAMPLES
Wow! It is brilliant idea!
What a lovely dress you have!
Alas! we loss the match. Etc…

9 (4) DECLARATIVE SENTENCE
DEFINATION
A sentence that makes a statement or assertion
is called a DECLARATIVE OR ASSERTIVE sentence

Example
 I love my country.
 I like freedom.
 John is a good footfall player. Etc…
