REGIO OF THE SCAPULA

- back of scapula
- doubiling posterior wall of axilla

Borders

superior+medial: corrosponding magins of scapula

superior+lateral: poserior margin M.deltoideus
inferior+lateral: inferior margin M.major teres+ inferior angle of scapula

Superficial layer
M.trapezius - superior part
M.latissimus dorsi - inferior part ( passes over the inferior angle scapula)

Profunder layer —> two osteo-fibrotic spaces delimited by Scapula+ fascias

Supraspinous space: in fossa supraspinata

- M.supraspinosus
- Fascia muscle supraspinosi
- A.suprascapularis
- N. suprascapularis

Infraspinous space: in fossa infraspinata

- M.infraspinosus
- Fascia muscoli infraspinosi

M.teres major—> tendon goes in front of the articulation ( shoulder)

M.teres minor —> tendon goes behind articulation (shoulder)

Both muscle create a space —> caput longum of M.triceps brachii fits in there —> two new
smaller spaces

Spatium omo-tricipitalis ( Hiatus maxillaries medialis) :

- medially
Borders: lateral margin of scapula, M-teres major+ minor+ caput longum of M.triceps brachii
Regio scapularis and regio amillaras communicate through this space

Spatium humero-tricipalis (Hiatus maxillaries lateralis):

-Laterally
Borders: superior part of the humerus, M.teres major+minor+caput longum of M.triceps
brachii
Regio deltoidea and regio axillaris communicate through this space
2.REGIO BRACHIALIS ANTERIOR

- anterior surface of the arm —> between shoulder and arm

- M. biceps brachii middle of the region —> presents on each side a groove

Borders:

superior: transversal line between tendons of muscles pectoralis major M.deltoideus

inferior: transversal line 3 cm above cutaneous plica of elbow

medial+lateral: vertical line trough epicondylus

a) Sulcus bicipitalis medialis/ulnaris: between medial margin M.biceps brachia +

anterior-medial margin M.triceps brachii
b) Sulcus bicipitalis lateralis/radialis: beween lateral margin M.biceps brachii + medial
margin M.brachoradialis
3.REGIO CUPITALIS ANTERIOR

external relief—> olecranon

-each side of between olecranon+epicondylus medialis+lateralis —> para-olecranon grooves

Borders:

superior: continuation in posterior of the transversal line 3cm above cutaneous plica of elbow

inferior: continuation in posterior of transversal line 3 cm below plica elbow

medial+lateral: vertical line trough cossisponding epicondyls

profund: until articulation of elbow

4.REGIO ANTEBRACHII POSTERIOR

posterior surface of former —> between elbow and wrist

Borders:
superior: posterior continuation of the transversal line 3 cm below cutaneous place of elbow

inferior: posterior communication of the transversal line 3cm above head of ulna

medial+lateral: vertical line in between epicondyle of humerus and corresponding processes

styloideus of radius+ulna

profunda: until radius, ulna and membrane interossea

5.REGIO CARPLIS POSTERIOR

-in back of radio-carpalis articulation

-forced abduction of the pollex —> ovalar depression laterally by the tendons of M.abductor
polilics longus + M.extensor pollicis brevis
- medially: tendon of M.extensor pollicis longus
- the floor of depression: tendons of M.extensor carpi radialis longs +brevis

in this depression: lateral —>A.radialis +Poc. styloideus radii

medial —> Proc.stylodideus ulnae

Borders:
superior: posterior continuation of transversal line above head of ulna
inferior: posterior continuation of transversal line above os pisiforme + tuberculum ossis
scaphoidei
medial+lateral: vertical line corresponding to the lateral and medial margin of radius
respective ulna

Fascia antebrachii (posterior)

- becomes thinner
- will integrate in ruinable of extensors retinaculum extensoris
- 3-4 cm wide inserted medially+ laterally on margins of carpal bones
- Retinaculum extensoris sends profund septums—> will give 6 osteo-fibrotic tunnels
- Tunnel—> tendons of extensor muscles pass trough it to the hand
