laundry room, closet, or recessed area. Companion appliance location requirements should also be
considered. The requirements include:
1. A grounded electrical outlet located within 6 feet (1.8 m)
2. Hot and cold water faucets located within 4 feet (1.2 m)
3. Water pressure from 20psi to100 psi (137.9kPa to 689.6 kPa)
4. A level floor with a maximum slope of 1" (25 mm) under entire washer.
5. A sturdy and solid floor to support the washer with a total weight (water and load) of 200lbs.
6. Temperatures around the machine will NOT get below 32°F (0°C).
Installation clearances
1. The location must be large enough to allow the washer door to be fully opened.
2. Additional spacing should be considered for ease of installation and servicing. The door
o
opens more than 90 . It is nor reversible.
3. Additional clearances might be required for wall ,door, and floor moldings.
