Salary insights 2022

Data & Analytics salary benchmark
There is no doubt that the pandemic has acted as a catalyst for many changes across the world of HR.

According to Glassdoor, the average salary for Data & Analytics professionals in the United Kingdom
varies wildly – with starting figures around £32,000 rising to stratospheric heights well into 6 figures.
This will vary based on things like job title, location, company size, years of experience, industry
sector, and – most importantly – data maturity levels of organisations. Some of these positions come
with additional compensation like cash bonuses and profit sharing.

Here in the UK, with salaries being paramount with the cost of living and prices at an all time high, it’s
important more than ever to be aware of salary ranges to retain, attract the best talent!

We have compiled a list of the key Data & Analytics team salaries based on the vacancies we have
worked this year – with companies ranging from Start-ups to Global Unicorns, as well as our in-depth
knowledge of the candidate market.

Salaries are based on various factors including number of years of experience, specialist knowledge, company
size and available budget.
