BPOC-BADAC JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 1
Series of 2022

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HEREIN FORMULATED BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER AND
PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN (BPOPS) AND THE BADAC PLAN OF ACTION (BADPA) FOR THE
CALENDAR YEAR 2023-2025 OF BARANGAY PANIANGAN

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the State to safeguard the integrity of its territory and the well-being of its citizenry
from the ill-effects of dangerous drugs;

WHEREAS, it is the paramount concern of the government to maintain peace and order nationwide and to
effectively curb the proliferation of dangerous drugs and other similar substances;

WHEREAS, Chapter IV, Section 391, paragraph 20 of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991, mandates that barangays shall adopt measures towards the prevention and eradication of
drug abuse;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Mrs. Lela T. Luyahan and duly seconded by Mrs. Junna J. Hermoso, it was;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to APPROVE THE HEREIN FORMULATED BARANGAY PEACE

AND ORDER AND PUBLIC SAFETY PLAN (BPOPS) AND THE BADAC PLAN OF ACTION (BADPA)
FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2023-2025 OF BARANGAY PANIANGAN

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution with the BPOPS-BADPA be submitted to the BDC for
adoption and integration in the BDP;

FURTHERMORE, a copy of the approved BPOPS-BADPA 2023-2025 be submitted to the Office of the MLGOO
and shall likewisse be furnished to concerned agencies/offices for reference and information.
