Daniel: Hi, Pilar! How have you been?
Pilar: Hi, Daniel! I’ve been good, thanks. And you?
Daniel: Good too, thanks. Tell me, how is work?
Pilar: Well, I work in a clothing store. I organize the inventory and help customers find what
they need. And you?
Daniel: I work in a bookstore. My responsibilities include arranging books on the shelves and
recommending books to customers. I like it a lot because I always find interesting books.
Pilar: That’s interesting! I love the idea of working surrounded by books.
Daniel: Yes, it’s very nice. How do you manage the inventory in your store?
Pilar: We use a computer system to keep track of everything. It’s pretty efficient. And you, how
do you decide which books to recommend?
Daniel: I usually talk to customers to know their interests and then suggest books I think they
will like. I also read reviews and stay updated with new books.
Pilar: Sounds like a very rewarding job.
Daniel: It is, definitely. We both have jobs that let us help people, which is great.
