 Starting the Game

Start the game by double-clicking the shortcut on your desktop, or by selecting “DRAMAtical Murder”
from the Start Menu.

Uninstalling the Game

To uninstall DRAMAtical Murder, use the Programs and Features menu located in the Control panel, or
select “Uninstall DRAMAtical Murder” from the Start menu and follow the instructions.

※Deleting the game by any other means may result in an incomplete uninstallation.

If the game does not run, or exhibits poor performance:

Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements listed above.

Some antivirus software may interfere with the installation or running of the game.

If you experience difficulties, temporarily deactivate your antivirus software during the installation
process, or whitelist the DRAMAtical Murder installer and game .exe within your antivirus software
settings.

※The makers of this game take no responsibility for issues caused by deactivating antivirus software.

Ensure that the correct version of DirectX is properly installed.

The DRAMAtical Murder installer will automatically attempt to install DirectX 11.0c. If the installation
does not complete properly, you may need to install DirectX 11.0c manually.

Ensure that your graphics card and chipset drivers are up to date.

Consult the manufacturer’s homepage for the latest drivers.

Title Screen

START Start the game from the beginning.

DATA LOAD Open Save/Load Menu.

CONFIG Open Config Menu.

EXIT Quit Game.

EXTRA Open Extra Contents Menu.

AUTO PLAY（A） Toggle auto play.

SKIP（Ctrl） Toggle skip.

BACKLOG（B） Open Backlog.

This menu allows you to adjust configuration settings.

BASIC

Restore default settings Click to restore default settings.

Enable movie skip When enabled, click or press Enter to skip movies.

 CHOICE SCREEN

During the game, you will make choices using this screen.

Make your choice by clicking one of the options. This will determine how the protagonist, Aoba, reacts
to situations. Ultimately, your choices will decide the course of the story.

 S T ORY

Midorijima. Situated to the south of Japan, this beautiful island was once a place where people lived in
harmony with nature. Then the Toue Corporation took over, driving off most of the island’s residents
and forcing those who would not leave to live in the shadow of Platinum Jail, a walled-off megaresort
where the wealthy wallow in luxury.

Aoba is a young man living with his grandmother in the Old Residential District, the last refuge of
Midorijima’s people. While his peers join gangs and fight for dominance of the streets or immerse
themselves in the virtual reality game Rhyme, Aoba works part-time at a junk shop and hopes only that
his peaceful life will last.

But strange things are happening on Midorijima, and Aoba will soon have to fight... or lose everything
that he holds dear.

Aoba / CV : Kagami Rui
A young man who values his peace and quiet. Despite his protests,
Aoba has a hard time refusing people in need. An optimist at heart,
he rarely gets angry, but when he does, expect him to deliver an
explosive kick or two. He’s been plagued by chronic headaches for as
long as he can remember.

“You’re thinking too much.

Your logic processor will short-circuit.”

Ren / CV : Higeuchi Waruta

Aoba’s Allmate. An older model, Ren requires regular maintenance, which Aoba
performs himself. His calm advice has pulled Aoba out of many a sticky situation.

“What kind of man would I be

if I said no to that?”
Koujaku / CV : Okino Yasuhiro
Aoba’s best friend, a wandering street hairdresser whose skills and flawless
smile have made him hugely popular with the district’s female population.

Koujaku’s Allmate. Known for his stylish geta sandals.

An expressionless, sharp-tongued hacker who keeps everyone
at a distance.

Mink / CV : Hayakawa Rinta
A hardened street fighter, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve
his goal.

Mink’s Allmate. His eyepatch and cigar give him a dignified air. Mink
hasn’t given him a name, and simply calls him “tori”―“bird.”

Clear / CV : Sawa Manaka
A strange man who always wears a gas mask and often says things
that make no sense.

“You might be surprised

how much you like it.”
Mizuki / CV : Jou Takashi
The leader of Dry Juice, the district’s largest Ribsteez team. He looks down
on Rhyme players and respects Aoba for not taking part in the fad.

One of a pair of gangsters who’ve known Aoba for years.

The second of the gangster pair. Though they look similar, they aren’t
twins.

I’m tired of listening to your bickering.”

Tae / CV : Nishino Kumi

Aoba’s grandmother, a strict but kind old lady who’s looked after him all
his life. A pharmacist, she designed the medicine that keeps Aoba’s
headaches at bay.

forbidden phrase unless you want to see what lies beneath that
mild-mannered exterior.

Akushima / CV : Nanbu Tetsuyoshi
A cop feared throughout the district for his tyrannical policing and
villainous appearance. Is never seen without his megaphone.

 TROUBLESHOOTING

This section contains general solutions for common issues. For additional support,

The game crashes or freezes during startup:

◆If your hard disk is nearly full, Windows may become unstable. Ensure that you have sufficient hard disk space.

◆Beta drivers and/or unsupported OS versions may cause the game to crash or freeze.

◆Ensure that all hardware is connected properly and that other applications are functioning as intended.

◆This game was tested on factory standard system configurations. Nonstandard configurations and/or nonofficial
software may cause problems. Please check your installed hardware and software for possible problems or
conflicts.

◆Review your system settings and consult Windows support for system assistance.

The game runs poorly:

◆Other applications may be draining system resources. Shut down other applications before playing.

◆Check the system tray for software that may be draining system resources.

There’s no sound:

◆Ensure that your speakers are on and that the volume is turned up. Also check the Windows volume control to
ensure that sound is on.

◆Check the in-game volume settings via the config menu.
