OCA CIRCULAR NO. 144-2024

TO ALL CONCERNED EXECUTIVE JUDGES AND COURT


PERSONNEL OF THE FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL COURTS

SUBJECT: CALL FOR JUDICIARY EMPLOYEES TO SERVE AS LOCAL


PERSONNEL IN THE LOCAL TESTING CENTERS
NATIONWIDE DURING THE BAR EXAMINATIONS ON
08,11, AND 15 SEPTEMBER 2024

The Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) is inviting reliable and


trustworthy judiciary employees to serve as Local Personnel (LP) during
this year's Bar Examinations on 08, 11, and 15 September 2024 in the
thirteen (13) Local Testing Centers (LTC) nationwide.

To assist in ensuring the success of the 2024 Bar Examinations, all


concerned executive judges are requested to encourage the court personnel
in their respective areas of administrative supervision to apply as LP,
particularly as (1) Floor Supervisors, (2) Head Proctors, (3) Proctors, and
(4) Runners through the links/QB. codes below:
Re: Call for Local Personnel to Serve During the 2024 Bar Examinations

The duties, responsibilities, and qualifications for each position are


indicated in the attached document (Annex "A"). All LP will undergo
training sessions, which may be scheduled during or outside official hours.

Interested LP applicants must possess ALL of the following


qualifications: (a) incumbent judiciary employee, whether permanent,
coterminous, casual, or contractual, during the application period, bar
preparations, and bar examinations; (b) fully vaccinated and has received at
least one (1) booster dose against COVID-19; (c) not teaching in any law
school or law review centers at the time of application until the last bar
examinations day; (d) has a Landbank account in one's name; and (e) has no
relative within the fourth (4th) civil degree of consanguinity or affinity who
will take the examinations in the same LTC where he or she will serve.

The deadline for applications is on 07 June 2024.

Please note that interested judiciary personnel may apply only in


the area where they are currently residing.

2024 Local Personnel
Duties and Responsibilities

Please note that those who are interested in applying must possess all of the following
qualifications: (a) incumbent judiciary employee, whether permanent, coterminous, casual, or contractual,
during the application period, bar preparations, and bar examinations; (b) fully vaccinated and have
received at least one booster dose against COVID-19; (c) not teaching in any law school or law review
centers at the time of application until the last bar examinations day; (d) has a Landbank account in one's
name; and (e) has no relatives within the 4th civil degree of consanguinity or affinity who will take the exam
in the same local testing center (LTC) where the personnel will serve.
