Read the information given
Greeting is a kind o question or statement to begin a conversation. The greetings depends on the
situation

1. We say “ good morning” when we meet someone early in the morning between 1 a.m to
12 a.m. in the middle of the day
2. We say “ good day” when we meet someone in the middle of the day at around 12. A.m
3. We can say “ good afternoon” when we meet someone in the afternoon between 1 p.m to
11 p.m
4. We say “ good evening” when we meet someone in the evening at around 6 p.m to 11
p.m

Besides saying good morning, good afternoon or good evening, we can also great someone with
informal greetings like:

- How’s everything with you?


- Good to see you again
- How’s life?
- Etc
We can says the informal greetings to someone that we have already known before. Informal
greeting can be said at any time of the day.
