There are three benefits of approving safety legislation following the Nashville Shooting

In the CNN article “Tennessee’s Republican governor signs school safety legislation

following Nashville Shooting”, Sydney Kashiwagi, Devon Sayers, and Rebekah Riess talk about

the 3 important aspects of this Project to improve school safety across the state following the

deadly shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville. First of all, the importance of all people in

schools being safe. It is important that the students and teachers of Tennessee feel safe to be able

to return home from school in a Safe way every day, for that reason they have worked with the

general assembly to prioritize school safety. In addition, Kashiwagi, Sayers, and Riess Specific

measures have been taken to be prepared for a possible new attack, last but not least,

Kashiwagi, Sayers, and Riess mentioned the support for the physical, mental, and emotional

health of all students, with this project, part of the 230 million dollars planned will be allocated

to help all students who feel they need emotional support. To sum up Sydney Kashiwagi, Devon

Sayers, and Riess’s CNN article Tennessee’s Republican governor signs school safety legislation

following Nashville Shooting” It is important to take preventive measures to avoid possible

events of attacks in schools, where the well-being of everyone in the institutions, the emotional

health of students, and the prevention of a possible new attack.
