PBooking: A Bus Reservation System

B. Introduction

The occasional chaotic circumstances that arise in our province’s bus

terminals are a result of not having an environment to view available bus
seats. Therefore, PBooking will act as a local repository of bus seats. Bus
operators and conductors are the people to manage and operate this program
for efficient ticketing and booking procedures. This bus reservation system will
improve customer satisfaction, booking procedure, and the overall operational
efficiency of bus transportation companies.

C. Objectives

The main objective of this project is to develop a system enabling bus

operators and conductors to manage bus seat reservations. Specifically, the
project aims to:
1. improve bus seat allocation and management; and
2. collect relevant passenger information.

F. Implementation

The following are the steps to be undertaken for this project:

1. Planning, designing, and system analysis.
2. Create the program in C++ using DevC++ Integrated
Development Environment (IDE).
3. Debugging.
4. Compile the project into a .exe file.

G. Conclusion

In conclusion, the implementation of PBooking, a bus seat reservation

system, will address the problems experienced in our province's bus
terminals by providing a centralized platform to view and manage available
seats. This program is aimed to be utilized by bus operators and conductors.
The project's main objectives are to enhance bus seat allocation and
management while collecting relevant passenger information. The steps
involved in the project include planning, designing, system analysis,
programming in C++ using the DevC++ IDE, debugging, and compiling the
project into an executable file.
