Open to players FIDE rating 1800 and below (as per FIDE May rating list)
Standard rating shall be used if the player has NO Rapid rating (FIDE Standard rating
1800 and below)

Open to players born 1974 and BEFORE (Age 50 and above)

Prize (NTUC Voucher): 1st: $250 (All prizes will be announced before Round 1)

Rules and Regulations:

1. TPWCC Blitz & Rapid Chess 2024 will be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess.
2. Players are eligible for only 1 prize. No sharing of prizes in the event of tie.
3. NTUC vouchers will be presented to winners during prize presentation.
4. Entry fees are Non-Refundable.
5. Limited entries for each Championship, on a first-come-first-served-basis.
6. Participants are expected to maintain acceptable standards of dress code (no slippers)
& behaviour.
7. Closing date: 20th June 2024 or earlier once the maximum number is reached.
8. Tie Breaks to be announced before Round 1.
9. June FIDE ratings will be used for Tourney A, B & C pairing.
10. The organising committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry without
providing any reason/s and amend the above rules and regulations or part therefore
without prior notice.
11. All decisions made by the Chief Arbiter shall be final.
