Abstract: Marriage/Nikkah in Islam is a highly religious social contracts legally binding a man & woman
which brings rights & obligations to both parties & can only be successful when these are mutually respected
and cherished. Both the groom and the bride are to concern the marriage as their own free wills. The couple
notes the significance invitation to witness their wedding is evident from the fact that it provides a healthy
environment for the maintenance of cordial relations between the spouses, relatives, friends & the reciprocal
love between them.The wedding involves binding the two through HaqMehar/Jointure with bride’s parent,
giving dowry in the presence of witnesses.The marriage will help the couple to maintain their chastity & keep
them safe against community prohibited acts.
