1. Responsible to ensure compliance with Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Central Depository Company (CDC), National Clearing Company of
Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) and Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
2. Responsible to ensure compliance with Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing Terrorism (CFT) in accordance with the
guidelines of all regulators.
3. Lead the finance, accounts and taxation matters. Also responsible to ensure that all accounting records are properly and timely maintained,
reporting cycles and other associated engagements are successfully performed in an effective and timely manner in accordance with the
regulatory and organizational requirements.
4. Review and approve periodic financial statements and monthly internal reports, all payments exceeding set materiality, payroll summary,
finalize annual financial statements get them audited from external auditors and place them before Board.
Key Achievements
1. Incorporated a purpose-built entity following PEMRA guidelines and subsequently shortlisted (based on a financial and technical proposal
prepared under my supervision) to contest for the Direct to Home (DTH) license in Pakistan.
2. Led and mentored the team in preparation of the financial and technical proposal to acquire franchise rights of KARACHI KINGS.
3. Led and mentored the team of Due Diligence to acquire 51%+ shares of World Call Telecom Limited (the second biggest company in the
telecom sector after PTCL).
4. Incorporated a purpose-built entity following PEMRA guidelines to acquire satellite TV rights in the sports category from PEMRA, i.e. A
Sports
5. Led and mentored the team in preparing the financial and technical proposal to acquire television media broadcast rights for PSL 2022-
2023.

1. Charted all media activities into four broader categories, i.e. Films, Animated Films, Dramas and Broadcasting licenses.
2. Undertook the Media business financial consolidation comprising six entities of different jurisdictions (3 Pakistani entities, 1 ME, 1 European
and 1 American).
3. Administered and led the entire IPO process with underwriters and fund managers as per PSX regulations (Later, the decision to go public
was put on halt by company management).
4. Headed Asset tagging (assignment outsourced to audit firm) exercise to bring fixed asset register by the ICAP’s Technical Release 6.
Moreover, designed and implemented internal controls to ensure strict compliance in asset movement and protect the integrity of the
company’s assets.
5. Supervised the entire re-modification and development of new modules within in-house built accounting software to put controls at
different levels for optimising ERP.
Key Achievements
1. Completed the backlog of bookkeeping, reporting and annual audits.
2. Oversaw all pending matters with SECP and tax authorities and resolved them amicably.
