RESOLUTION NO. 14

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF MID-YEAR BONUS TO BARANGAY OFFICIALS,

BARANGAY SECRETARY AND BARANGAY TREASURER IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED
EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT PESOS & 40/100 (₱108,878.40) ONLY AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Paniangan has appropriated Mid-Year Bonus to Barangay Officials
in its duly approved Barangay Annual Budget for 2024;

WHEREAS, pursuant to the DBM Budget Circular No. 2016-3, dated April 28, 2016, re: Rules and
Regulations of the Grant of Mid-Year Bonus, Barangay Officials are under the coverage on the grant of Mid-Year
Bonus;

WHEREAS, pursuant to the above cited circular, Mid-Year Bonus shall be released not earlier than May
15 of the current year equivalent to one (1) month basic pay;

WHEREAS, all personnel availing such bonus are within the defined premises of sub-paragraphs 5.1 (1,2
and 3) of the said circular;

NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, on motion of Hon. Kag. Juliet G. Cañete which was duly
seconded by Hon. Kag. Franklin I. Badelles, it was:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to AUTHORIZE THE RELEASE OF MID-YEAR

BONUS TO BARANGAY OFFICIALS, BARANGAY SECRETARY AND BARANGAY TREASURER IN
THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT PESOS
& 40/100 (₱108,878.40) ONLY

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to the Municipal Budget Office, Municipal
Accounting Office, Office of the Sangguniang Bayan and other offices concerned for their reference.
