1 -1-1. Prior to servicing, be sure to disconnect the product from its electrical power source by removing the
products eletrical plug from the wall receptacle to preclude the possibility of resultant presonal injury
and / or property damage.
1-1-2. Never attempt to modify or bypass circuit connections in ways not recommended by the manufacturer.
1-1-3. Do not use any extension or double adaptors.
1-1-4. For person safety, this appliance must be properly grounded.
This refrigerator should not be grounded with a telephone line, gas pipe etc.
1 -2-1. In case of article No.1 and starting capacitor ( itself only ) do not supply power in order to check for
eletrical charge and discharge for more than two minutes. When power is supplied for more than two
minutes, the insulation inside the capacitor may be broken. When it is impossible to finish the test
within two minutes, wait for about 30 minutes, and then check again.
1-2-2. When replacing the relay connected to the compressor terminal pin, be sure to pull it off straight and
push it on straight, Swaying the relay side-to-side or up and down, may cause damage to the
compressor terminal pin and / or the relay.
1-2-3. Wait more than 5 minutes to re-start the refrigerator after you stop it once.
If you plug in the refrigerator immediately after you pull the plug, you may not be able to start it again.
! : This is safety-related information on the A/ C power circuits and parts used in the refrigerator.
: This is the information required for repairing the refrigerator.

6-3.Relay
Operating principle Inspection method
The relay momentarily energizes the start winding to
start the rotation of the compressor motor.
Most later refrigerator models use a solid state type
relay.
Unlike the mechanical type relay, the solid state relay
has no coil and no moving contacts.
This relay consists of a small solid state wafer that has
a low resistance at room temperature.
The wafer is positioned between electrical terminals
that connect to the compressor terminals.

7.HOW TO REPLACE MAJOR COMPONENTS
Gaseous refrigerant in high temperature and in high pressure so radiates evaporation latent heat
CONDENSER: absorbed from evaporator surrounding during passing through condenser and compression heat
due to refrigerant gas compression to surrounding of condenser that refrigerant becomes liquid
in high pressure.
In order to prevent that moisture and foreign substances resided inside every parts during
refrigeration cycle assembling is so included among refrigerant gas that it chokes the exit of inlet
DRYER: of capillary, dryer has drying substances (molecular sieves) and filter inside it which absorbs or
purify them.
Regulates and/or keeps(in specified low)refrigerant flow rate so that maintains constant pressure
drop from wire condenser to evaporator.
Capillary tube:
Liquid referigerant passed through capillary so expand in evaporator that it becomes low
temperature and low pressure to absorb heat around evaporator, so that it chills surrounding air
Evaporator: and at that time liquid refrigerant becomes gaseous.

7-3. Steps for replacing door panel.
1) Remove the screws fastening the door panel.
Then, door panel can replaced.

3-1 Press the "Custom" key for 3 seconds, the digital tube will display the user setting temperature
during the 3 seconds. Then, release the "Custom" key,the digital tube will display the user
setting temperature flickeringly.
3-2 During the 5 seconds flicker, press the "Red wine" key,the current temperature will increase
1C for each pressing action until the digital tube display 18C.
3-3 During the 5 seconds flicker, press the "White wine" key,the current temperature will decrease
1C for each pressing action until the digital tube display 4C.
3-4 After releasing the "Red wine" key and the "White wine" key,the digital tube will display the
actual temperature after 5 seconds .
3-5 The digital tube will display the temperature of the last setting when reentering the
temperature setting status.
5. RESET FUNCTION
5-1 The digital tube will fail to display if pressing both the "White wine" key and the "Red wine"
key at the same time. The "Red wine" light, the "White wine" light, the "Interior light" all should
be off and the compressor also should be off.
5-2 After 3 seconds, the digital tube will display the actual temperature and the "Red wine" light
will be on(the appliance recovers to the primary state).
6. ILLUMINATING FUNCTION
6-1 When pressing the "Interior light" key,the "Interior light" will be on or off when its' primary
status is off or on.
6-2 After 1 hour"s work, the "Interior light" will automatically go off if no action on the "Interior
light" key .

7. MAINTENANCE MODE
7-1 If holding down the "White wine" key, "Red wine" key and the "Interior light" key
simultaneously for 5 seconds, the digital tube will display"SE" for 1 second. The "White wine"
light, "Red wine" light and the "Custom" light will be on,the interior light and the compressor
will be off.
7-2 After "SE" appearing on the digital tube, release the"White wine" key,the "Red wine" key and
the "Interior light" key.If the actual temperature appearing on the digital tube is below 0C,the
digital tube will display 32C flickeringly until the actual temperature return into the
temperature range.
7-3 When pressing the "Custom" key,the compressor can be controlled to be on or off. The digital
tube will display “ON” or “OF” for 3 seconds after pressing the "Custom" key.
7-4 Under the maintenance mode, the compressor will restart at once.
