Madame Web: Are There Positive Things About The Film?

Madame Web, a Marvel superhero film, that came out in March 2024
could have been a better-made film. The film got so many Marvel fans questioned
about the plot/story, casts, and superpowers. The director, S.J.Clarkson, directed
and Dakota Johnson starred as Cassandra Web. Critics said the whole thing about
the film was wrong. But let's deep dive with me to uncover the positive things
about the film. Spoiler alerts.
The Casts

The cast of Madame Web should not be taking all the blame. Despite
Dakota Johnson saying that she won’t play a role in Madame Web again, she didn’t
fail her role as Cassandra Web. Her superpower, seeing the future, actually suited
her. Her comedic also made the scenes less awkward. She was along well with the
kids, Julia Cornell, Anya Corazon, and Mattie Franklin. Julis Cornell, played by
Sydney Sweeney, stood out as the main character. She could lead the squad and
also well along with the others. She made the scenes look prettier. Adam Scott
played well as Ben Parker and he supported Cassandra fine. Ezekiel Sims told us
he was this movie villain and he did a great job. Maybe some fighting scenes were
not as clear as they should have been, but Tahar Rahim portrayed this villain role
well. Some viewers could see a clear picture because the cast like Dakota Johnson
and Sydney Sweeny were very influenced by their roles in the previous movies.
The Superpower

Cassandra Web possessed the ability to see the future. She could see
the danger and effects of the future. She had telepathy to communicate mentally to
others. She could also sense hidden objects, things, and people. The superpowers
that showed in the film were awesome but also confused for the audience on the
screen. Not perfect and sometimes the audience couldn’t know what was going on.
Ezekiel Sims could climb the building, have wild physical powers, and could see a
glimpse of the future. Unlike Spider-man, he got his power from a radioactive
spider. His powers were great seen on the screen and surprisingly he got no weird
scenes. Overall superpower scenes were okay and no do-over.
The Plot

Madame Web(2024) was an intro to Madame Web Verse. The plot was
different from Marvel Comics. In Comics, Cassandra Web is a supporting character
and sometimes gives aid to Spider-Man.In Sony’s Madame Web, she is a
standalone main character. The plot was not perfect but it could be improved in the
next movies. The simple plot with the over-influenced cast made the film messed
up. Also, it disconnected from the Marvel Cinematic Universe-MCU fueled the
anger of the fans. Four Marvel Superheros in one film was a good thing to try.
The Director

S.J. Clarkson is a director for the film and he also screenplayed. Matt
Sazama and Burk Sharples were also participating in screenplays. They are the
ones who got criticized because they were also in Mobiuss, another disappointing
Marvel film by Sony. Clarkson’s mistake was to work with unproven coworkers.
He directed the battle scenes well. It felt like we experienced quality scenes. The
scenes in which Cassandra saw the future were good but a little messed up from the
screenplay. The director also shouldn’t get all the blame.
Madame Web(2024) was an example of finding the right people in
production for Sony’s future Marvel Films. The films had negative over positive on
people's minds. But there is still room to prove that Madame Web is a great
superhero as she was in the comics. If we can talk about the negative things about
the film all day, we can find even one positive fact. So, can you find another one
little positive thing?
