Sub: Misuse and fraudulent usage of my Bank Account.

Dear Sir,

Myself, Munji Vasudev, resident of Malkajgiri, Hyderabad would like to lodge an official complaint
about the misuse of my bank account details. I have provided my bank account details to one of my
friend over whatsapp on 9663301277 (Name – Anandula Venkata Ramana, resident of Bangalore) on
28th April 2022, around 3.08 PM, based on his telephonic conversation that he would lend me Rs
4,00,000 for my personal needs. Within few minutes, I have received my account details from other
known person, threatening of serious consequences since he holds my account number. I request you
to properly investigate in this matter, if there is any fraudulent action that might have happened.

I have checked with my friend Mr. Anandula Venkata Ramana and he has confirmed that he has not
shared by bank details with anyone. I have attached the chat details for your ready reference.

I am worried about possible hack of my bank account or the phone number and hence request you
look into this matter and take immediate action as this deals with my reputation, bank’s reputation
and also cyber threat on whatsapp.

I hereby urge you to look into this matter as part of section 43A and 72A of the (Indian) Information
Technology Act, 2000, where sharing of the personal information shared to a party to others is a
punishable offence without the consent of the first party.
