BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 2021-39

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BARANGAY NUTRITION ACTION PLAN (BNAP) FOR FY
2022-2024 OF BARANGAY 04 POBLACION, SAN LUIS, AURORA

WHEREAS, the Barangay Nutrition Council (BNC) of this barangay prepared their BNAP FY 2022-2024 which
conforms and as provided for under Article II, Section 15 of the 1987 Constitution mandates the State to protect and
promote the right to health of the people and to instill health consciousness among them; and Article XV, Section 3
mandates the state to defend the right of children to assistance including proper care and nutrition;

WHEREAS, Section 17 of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of the Philippine,
further mandates local government units to exercise their powers and discharge their functions as are necessary and
appropriate for the effective provision of basic services including child welfare and nutrition services;

WHEREAS, the said plan is embodied, incorporated and included in the Barangay Development Plan of this
barangay for FY 2022-2024;

WHEREAS, the total aggregated amount of BNAP is embodied, incorporated and included in the Annual
Investment Plan (AIP) of this barangay for FY 2022;

WHEREFORE, be it resolved as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay 04 Poblacion,

San Luis, Aurora in session duly assembled-

TO APPROVE AND ADOPT THE BARANGAY NUTRITION ACTION PLAN (BNAP) FOR FY 2022-2024 OF
BARANGAY 04 POBLACION, SAN LUIS, AURORA.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of such BNAP be attached and made as an integral part hereof;

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, to send a copy hereof to the Honorable Sangguniang Bayan of San Luis, Aurora,
for their information and reference;

RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copies hereof to appropriate government agencies for their information and
reference.
